Lotta people eating some crow on this piece both here and other forums. Never seen anything like it. One day it is the worst statue ever. The next it is the bomb. And it's the same people on both sides. Makes for some good entertainment though.

I was out over the weekend (it's a holiday weekend here in the US), and I think I popped into a thread or two, but not this one.
So I come back and now everyone that was once ragging on it is now buying one? Is that what you mean? What changed with the piece?

for me personally, that discount convinced me to get this completely repainted. I figure if Prime gets the license, it will be at least a good 3-4 years before we actually see a P2 and who knows what scale it would be in.

This thread is pretty funny. You people realize that you can still get the regular right? I mean, if you have the loot for one at $1k, you def got the loot for one at $1.2k. The piece is still the same minus the extras that everyone thought were shabby anyway...

yup, as I said before the big discount twist, this thread reminds me of the first Green Lantern PF one,,, except, it's much funnier here.

I never saw any issues with that piece, I never cared for the character itself, but looked like a solid piece. This one still has it's issues, but I imagine it will appease most ppl unless a better one comes along.

I was hoping the delay meant that SS was working on fixing the sculpting inaccuracies. Once Igo(I think that's his name) confirmed that SS was not addressing anything sculpt-wise during the delay, I immediately got my full deposit back on the EX.

As it is, this piece will never be a part of my collection. I would still be able to see right through a very good paint app.

20% off the Ex is a no brainer and still much cheaper than the Reg locally.

Just hope it looks good in hand.

Shipping weight 15Kg+ and large box, $40 to the U.K. Can't argue with that.

I don't think it is a mistake as they have shipped plenty of them at this point. When I asked for a quote early on, they predicted it would be around $120 to the UK, I paid $40. I suspect Sidehsow have heavily subsidised the shipping on this at their expense. Whatever the reason, we are winning big time as I paid more than this for all of my recent orders, all of which were much smaller and lighter.
