The second option is basically the regular.

Yeah, somehow I think that ship had sailed a long time ago as I think SS feels that most buyers of this statue are more than willing to overlook the inaccuracy of the dreads, spear, etc....and that heavily outweighs, the ones that are going to pass on the statue because of said inaccuracies. In any case I guess a good thing came out of it which is a low ES for whomever that matters to...

The only reason the EX sold out is because of the low ES.

It's going to be funny watching the months go by waiting for the 1000 ES on the regular to sell out

There will be:

. . . repeated reminders on weekly newsletters . . .

. . . giveaways on special event days (Halloween, Mother's Day, Gary Busey's birthday . . . )

. . . emails plugging this with the regular 1/5 scale Scar and P1 (plus the 1:1 Beserker bust) (called "Day of the Predator" or something similar)

. . . free copies added to packs of breakfast cereal

As a matter of fact, the low ES is a way for them to encourage sales DESPITE the inaccuracies. It further confirms, they're not going to do anything to address those issues.

The Ex sold out the same day the ES was revealed. They could of easily added at least another 100.
A $2,400 sale yesterday suggests the Ex is sought after. And that was while the W/L is still up.

What ever makes you guys feel better...I'm looking forward to mine.

Yeah, I'm affraid so, and having the breather equipped with the disk removes any aggressive posture imo as it makes him look asthmatic rather than aggressive with just that disk. It will look too cluttered and seems more restricting rather than exclusive, no point having extras if you can't pick and choose which ones to display it with, I mean the mythos Vader had about 57 arms with it, how can a $1200 statue be so limited? Seems a silly oversite to me but I guess they figured one more on this piece won't matter. I guess we are all stuck with the undersized spear. I really don't think you will even get your simple stand Col, never mind the hand or major changes to the head sculpt. But I guess we should all pester SS directly as they really don't care about what people are saying on here that much is clear....

I don't think you're really missing out on much, unless ES really matters to you the EX on this one doesn't offer much at all, just get the regular locally if you can, might even save some money that way. If you really must have the EX though, I wouldn't worry too much, don't expect P1 maquette prices at any rate. You could still jump on the wait list in fact, might be worth a try as I doubt the regular will be selling out any time soon. Welcome to the forum.

I highly doubt it, you get no protection from paypal with a preorder so far out and this is never going to sell for that much more than the regular.
