So I got mine BUT the gun will not stay in place...either the hole is too big, or paint got in and I can't let it sit in all the way.

It falls right off by itself, very frustrating...Not sure what I'll do yet, hafta fix it somehow.

I just sawed that peg off, then it fit fine. I used a very fine saw blade. You have to be careful but after that peg is gone, it fits fine. There may be other work arounds but that's what i did to have me fit right. Hope that helps.

I'd guess plastic, I was able to cut off the end of mine with regular houshold scissors.
