Well, if that's the case, then I'll admit I'm wrong. But, that doesn't make you any less of a troll. :wave

:lol :yess::yess::yess:

The mesh is over or under the lenses?

Hmm, yeah I always thought that too.

Me too. And I still think it is!

Steve Wang, CM, HCG, and all the other people using mesh on the outside of the bio helmet lenses MUST have gotten it wrong then... :(

Seriously though, they probably used the mesh on the outside of the lenses to break up and reflections of the film crew, lighting equipment, etc.

^only I would have a more masculine hand than the above.

Haha, I bet that's your cat.:wink1:

I'd love a HT 1/6th Alien from any of the films, but not made out of rubber that begins to break down before you can take it out of the package.

I am still being optimistic about Classic Predator. Its my opinion, but I'll wait and see what I get when he is delivered.

Mine are all like new... :dunno

I have 2 Avp ones which i repainted and have had nps at all with them. 1 of them i got off a boardie very very cheap as it was missing a leg tendon, the wrist peg was broken and his chest rubber was ripped badly. I fixed all of those problems with nps and he looks fine now.

Honestly, I am glad for you and I sincerely wish you an eternity of no problems with your figures. However, I have had problems with both the rubber suited and rubber coated bodies (rubber flesh). Just my bad luck? Who knows but I avoid them now and I feel like the Alien(s) figures could be quite well done without rubber anyway. :peace

My Big Chap figure started peeling on the back about 6-7 months after I received it..
Don't DARE use the inner jaw feature, rips the mouth tendons and causes the dome to come loose from the rubber part of the head. Wrist pegs snapped right out of the box..I was as gentle as possible with them, but they just..snapped.

I loved my Dog Alien, but he started to peel on his lower back as well...left mouth tendon ripped from using the inner jaw feature, rubber started slightly deteriorating on the sides of the legs.
And it's a _____ to stand that figure up...actually, to stand up all of their Alien figures.
I don't see why they don't give them stands.

My AvP Drone is still alive, but the rubber on his head is peeling away from the dome, and there is a little bit of deterioration on the stomach. Put a ton of Mod Podge on him though, so that should keep him together for a while.

I think HTs should re-release all their Aliens but use plastic instead of rubber. I would definitely buy them then.
And while theyre at it, re-release the marines and Ripley with updated everything! :lol

I think at this point in time we want every Alien and Predator figure ever made before the Predators line to be re-made.:lol

I'd include the post-Predators figures as well. None of those are really accurate either.
HT should hire Tankman as sculptor and be done with it.

sigh, Hot toys should've stick to the proto paint on the face. Felt kinda disappointed but still....

SS has this listed as coming in the next 30 days in the newsletter. Very excited for this one. I think I've settled on displaying him maskless with the closed mandibles.

So in light of the difference in actual vs prototype, are you guys still going to get this? I was thinking of getting one but now the NECA 1:4 version is looking like a better value.

Im still getting mine and Im really looking forward to it, even though I am disappointed with the changes made from the proto.
Its still an awesome looking figure IMO.

Word. :goodpost:

And I do love those Marines for what they are (see avatar). The gear is so great, even today. But they can all use upgrades and I would happily upgrade my own figures for those with better likenesses, better tailoring of the suits to the character, better quality boots, better detailing on the armor, etc. etc.
