Im getting the HT Classic Predator

But I would drop another $200-$300 on a HT Tankman P1. Without hesitation.

If they put out an accurate Predator in the future I'd be very surprised. With the current sculptor it's just not going to happen though so the only thing to do is accept it.

Tho there is so many ways to push on HT to make it happen... Oh well.

blind buyers of products meant to look at. hate you more than blind sculptors like pooseph pissang.
anyway i'm almost ready enough to buy "classic" and "shadow" to try and make P1 and P2 on their bodies and with old heads corrected by SS (that's actually why i went to this thread - trying to see the body color).
seem to have more $ than patience i don't see HT making P1 and P2 on new bodies as i hoped.

Im certainly not part of the army that ruins the chance of accurate figures. I give my nit pics at the start and thats that. Im just not going to moan right now because its simply too late. HTs arent going to change anything now because its ready to be shipped out. Im simply accepting what we are ended up with. Of course I want super accurate figures but just not in this case. I wouldnt have bought this figure if it was a super accurate CLASSIC predator. Im just thankful that it does a decent job of being a P1.
If this was supposed to be a P1 figure, I would be moaning a LOT more than I have done about this figure all together.

I buy it because I like it. If it was an accurate classic Predator, then I wouldnt like it, therefore I wouldnt buy it("support it").

They call him blind because he seems to get a lot of details wrong and doesnt seem to pay much attention to accuracy like someone like Tankman does. Tsang seems to like making up his own vision of the character compared to other sculptors whos main aim is for complete 100% accuracy.
The thing is, it works out better with this figure IMO because if it was 100% accurate to classic, I wouldnt be buying it.
Thats why Im not complaining about accuracy on this figure. Im glad Tsang did his own vision this time.

He doesn't use source material and sculpts it the way he wants.

I think the haters have made their point several times on here. Seriously if you guys don't like the Preds Hot Toys puts out then simply don't buy them.

someone who made exactly what you want ? you will have the most expensive predator in the world but certainly the more accurate

They want super accuracy, but they dont want to pay out the ass to get it.

I just don't get it. Y'know, for me, I didn't buy the Big Chap Alien not because it didn't get every detail correct but because it didn't put across the character of the '79 Alien. Instead I thought it looked unintentionally funny about the face and generally just not very intimidating because of that. This Predator though oozes Predator character. I'm sorry but I just don't see how the resemblance is so off that it seems to offend some of you guys so much.

If I can get a HT T2 T-800 then I think this is going to be too hard to resist (I'm thinking of doing a movie shelf with the T-800, this and Babydoll)

Only thing I really don't like about this figure is the base, so I reckon I'll try and grab a generic Predators base of eBay (was looking at one that came with the Beserker last night)
