Time for a major rethink on the Predator collecting. Theres no way I can have it all, absolutely no way.

I'm expecting the Terminator 1/4 scale announcement any day now.

i just read the news.
about p1, p2 and so on.
in 1/4 (which will be actual 1/6 with HT love for midgets i guess).
and i really do not understand what to do with all those classics, shadows and so on. well, p1 and p2 have already sucked lots of money from me and don't want to stop

Cause they just released Classic And all I wanted is a P1 representation, which I am sure will look a lot nicer than this just released figure.

Plus, I feel bad for everyone that collected a lot of the older line. All of those are going to plummet in value.

I am looking forward to the new line(s) though. 1/4 scale Preds will be awesome! Especially with the die-cast armor. I wonder if they'll actually be able to have fully poseable (silicone) mandibles on these larger figures. That would be insane!

I see it as good news since I can revert this guy back to Classic Predator after another P1 comes out. Classic's damaged bio and holo are actually very cool and I'm glad I'll be able to display him like that...eventually

That would be a serious low blow by hot toys, but I'm still keeping my classic on order and still plan to convert it to p1.

I don't really care about rumors but with this sculpt, I just don't see how Hot Toys can NOT re-release it as an actual P1 remake sometime down the line.

I cannot see it any time soon. And i do not think this announcement is pointing at one as much as people make it out to be. It would seriously knock the sales of the Classic so i dont think it would be out or even announced any time soon at all (if at all). Not to mention the newly sculpted body can go on any figures we have not seen before. The new sculpted armour can be used for an P2 elder remake and the bio mask can be used for the lost predator in p2 which used the p1 mask.

There is lots of ways to throw around the newly sculpted pieces without them needing to bring out a p1 so soon

Not sure if I'll get another 1/6 version. Unless it really blows the Classic out of the water.

The 1/4 versions, however, are getting me really excited!

and regarding my classic, the cannons are easy to swap, just remove the pins and switch them.
and yes, i painted the gauntlet screens black.

i am so excited for a new p2 elder with the classic body....oh man....gonna be great!!

Where does it say they will be re-releasing all the others? We have only seen a p2 in a scale it already exists.

But with a p1 they are pissing on their own feet if they bring out a figure which is 90% identical to one they've just brought out. Especially with Classic's big selling point is people want to buy it because it looks very much like a p1 and people may have missed the original release. So we wont be seeing one for some time. If we are getting one i do not even see an announcement being in 2012.

We still have Noland to come out, Samurai Predator the newly shown P2 and possibly a 1:4 or another lost before 2012 is over. So i dont see a P1 being anything we need to worry about imminently.
