Where does it say they will be re-releasing all the others? We have only seen a p2 in a scale it already exists.

But with a p1 they are pissing on their own feet if they bring out a figure which is 90% identical to one they've just brought out. Especially with Classic's big selling point is people want to buy it because it looks very much like a p1 and people may have missed the original release. So we wont be seeing one for some time. If we are getting one i do not even see an announcement being in 2012.

We still have Noland to come out, Samurai Predator the newly shown P2 and possibly a 1:4 or another lost before 2012 is over. So i dont see a P1 being anything we need to worry about imminently.

They just released a P2 Shadow Pred not too long ago, yet they redid that as well. What's to stop them from redoing a P1 when the Classic was just released?

Also, if you look at their announcement image, it shows all of the movies with the 1/4 and 1/6 announcement:

Secondly, they said this:
We are going to announce this great news now - we are bringing to fans not only the 1/6th scale, but also the 1/4th scale collectible figures of the Predator movie series - Predator, Predator 2, Predators, Alien vs. Predator (AVP) and Aliens vs Predator – Requiem (AVPR)!

Lastly, the Classic Predator isn't P1. The old P1 is outdated compared to modern HT figs in terms of production techniques. They will release a newer version of it. Keeping in mind that this P1 re-release is probably a year or more away, people will still continue to buy the Classic. The majority of the Classic's sales have in fact already taken place... How would HT still lose out? What they are doing is in fact incredibly sneaky and sly.

I haven't got Classic yet and with my unexpected priority shift I don't think I'd display him as Classic but as P1 - thus if they're going to release a new true P1 anyway I'd be better off skipping Classic. :gah: Damn this not being rich lark.

I interpreted that to mean they are doing 1:4 scale versions of the figures they've done in 1:6 scale; the 1:6 scale figures have already been broughten.

The ARE and ALSO in that sentence lead me to believe otherwise. I am definitely going to listen to my gut on this one :p And it is clearly telling me that there will be a new P1.

I have to admit that theres a good chance that we could be interpreting the message wrong, but my gut tells me that we are getting the figures in both 1/6 and 1/4 scales.
Hopefully HTs clears this up soon(I know they wont though!).

This should clear everything up

And not to sound like a mini-mod, but this is the thread you guys should be in

Let's get back to pics of this awesome figure, which dare I say is, THE top Predator figure to date
Lol, yes that image is very clear. So 1:6 in 2012 as well; the question which remains then of course is which pictured predators will appear in 1:4 scale and which will appea in 1:6 scale in 2012. A question for the other thread ;)
