Predators - 1/6th scale Classic Predator Collectible Figure

In the Old P1 predator, all the armor is removable. Don't know why hot toys didn't continue that tradition with this new classic pred. Maybe they're getting a little lazy? who knows.

I think the arm armour cant be removed cause of the wiring for the light.

Hey Guys,

I am really glad I missed out on P1. I was not collecting HT due to the price when it first came out. When I have decided to get one the price skyrocketed. I am not going to pay crazy secondary prices knowing something better will come along. I put the Neca 1/4 scale on preorder, unfortunately Neca screwed up and could not deliver a single piece where I am from. I then used the money on the HT Berserker, thinking I cannot afford all three, so just get the one with the removable mask. One thing leads to another and now I have all three and waiting for my classic!

That maybe true, but it still doesn't explain why the leg armor can't be removed.

How is he limited? Masked, battle damaged mask, open mandibles, closed mandibles, holograms, no holograms...

Display options may have been the right term to use.

I have to agree on the pose issue... The new bodys can not hold poses as will as he older Pred bodies did... IMO..

I agree as well on the pose issue. Thats why I have decided to keep my original P1. Ill display my P1 with his mask on in a croutching/dynamic pose, where as Ill have my Classic displayed without his mask in an intimidating/roaring pose. Now if CSC would just get their stock in and ship me my damned Classic already!

removable arm blades/gauntlets, removable upper leg/hip armor, removable lower leg shin guard armor, removable med kit would have been nice.

I personally think that the armor on the old P1 looks better and is more detailed then this new classic pred armor. I do concede that the head sculpt and mask look better on this new classic pred than the old P1, but I prefer the older pred bodies with more articulation then these newer stiff bodies with less articulation.

Removable armour is very cool and gives the figure a more quality "feel" but it wont be something that I would take advantage of as I never once removed the armour from my P1. Same goes for the medikit too...although I still wouldve really liked that feature on this.

OK my twin brother ordered this one on December 29th and we haven't heard from SSC since getting the confirmation e-mail.
When it was ordered it said shipping in December,now the item is on back order,does this mean he's screwed? He does have the confirmation with the "T" not "W". Can they still waitlist him?

If you haven't heard anything yet I would suggest calling Sideshow, That's what I had to do. I authorized the final flex-payment around the same time as you ordered yours and because of the New-Years holiday weekend it didn't ship till Tuesday.

I wasnt reading the thread as a whole, but on that topic he can hardly twist .Kind of sad for me i want dynamic pictures and super battle poses but i hate to say that if the p2 is the same he will be limited.

Exactly what i'm gonna do with my non-damaged mask. That is just dead on P1 and really shows off the accuracy of the bio helmet.

Did you add a gloss layer to his skin? Your pics look different than others. Looks great! Can I ask what type of paint/gloss you used to give it that effect??

I did not add any gloss to the body..just the mouth and I added the rubber quills..

Its the Hot Toys Dog Alien but I plastered it with crapload of gloss acrylics to make it look a lot like the Sideshow Statue.
