Sadly, the fixed position is what keeps me from using the light-up feature. :( I was originally planning to pose mine with the hologram since it looks cool even unlit, but at an angle it just seems odd. Plus the alternate detonator lid doesn't close as tightly as the regular one, so the weight of the hologram makes it want to open constantly.

Having that said... it's totally the best HT Predator yet. :woo

You mean you csn only power the led on bio when its in one position only?

Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio

Uh... Furious1 and I were referring to the LED on his left arm gauntlet.

Dude, just wait until you get home to check SSF. Phones don't seem to lend themselves well to this. Just sayin'. :lol

I could if I swiveled his right shoulder up a little more, but I'm worried about paint scrapeage...

I always get stressed out posing my Preds. There's just something about handling an expensive figure with tight joints and netting that makes me so on edge. Pose and run............:lol

Nah, I haven't had any problems and I usually move all the joints to their full range when I take stuff out of the box. He's got the same range as the suit in movie... Shake it, you won't break it. :lol

Of all my Hot Toys figures, the Predators are the ones I'm most comfortable posing. They feel much more durable and well-built than the others. The only times I get nervous is when I'm unplugging the helmet electronics or swapping out the right hand; I'm always afraid I'll snap the blades.

Almost everything 1/6 is fragile, that's the nature of the game. Even parts that are made of metal aren't much stronger than plastic.

I think the detail we get on the sculpted hands now would be better than articulated ones.

me to... but oh boy can dream.

I just don't see how they could do it without compromising the style and anatomy of the hands. Other companies have done it with human hands and the end result always looks a bit awkward and unnatural, to me.

I always enjoy innovations, but I will be happy just so long as the P2 innovations match that of the classic predators. I'm pretty sure we can safely assume they will not be taking a step backwards on this one.

Sorry for the crappy pictures. Not enough daylight to take the official ones, so here are some shots I took of Classic in the detolf. I think this is the first figure I've had where it actually benefits from flash photography.

And some shots of my entire HT Pred collection thus far (these go in order from top shelf to bottom -- oh, and Guardian's supposed to be holding that retracted spear at his feet, but the gripping hand in the P2 line was pretty useless)...
