Fox News...fair and balanced. Gotta love 'em. They're neither fair nor balanced...but I DO love 'em. I guess they're no more unbalanced than Keith Olbermann. Is anyone?:lol

I really don't understand everyone's problem with Fox news. All of the other news channels are biased to the left, but god forbid ONE network is biased to the right.

Polls don't really mean much. Nobody will know the winner until the day after. Obama could go into election day with a 10 point lead and lose, because polling is inaccurate.

Preaching to the choir. I DO like them. Refreshing change from the >90% lib press. They are far from balanced though.

I agree completely. In and of themselves, they aren't fair and balanced. But taken as part of the overall media, they are the "balance" to the bias that comes from the rest of the outlets. And that's "fair". :)

Taken in that context (that they have to balance CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, The NY Times, The Washington Post, etc., etc., etc.), one could even conclude that they aren't far enough to the right. ;)

I'm a Democrat, not really all that liberal but I align myself with the majority of the Democratic ideals and policies. That being said, the only place I go to for information or political analysis is Fox News. I'm actually a pretty big fan of The O' Reilly Factor. While I wouldn't call them fair and balanced and there is a heavy lean to the left they do beat up the Republicans a fair share when they screw up.

I have said it before, polls only show TRENDS, they do not reveal who will win or by what margin. The TREND is definitely in Obama's favor. In the history of presidential elections, no candidate has ever come back from this big a deficit in the daily polls to win the election. But also, no candidate has ever been African American (the "Bradley effect"). So while it is true we have no idea who will win, McCain has to stop this trend before it is too late. Public perception is important, remember. Obama's 11 point lead, largest of any this presidential season, is significant. He is ahead in EVERY poll out there.

I liked the part when McCain was walking around saying "I'll get Bin Laden, I'll get Bin Laden, I know how to get Bin laden, My friends."......on a side note anyone else think Palin is hot?

I would definitely say they are the most balanced. I sometimes watch CNN, but not that often. MSNBC is totally out there. The only thing they have worth watching is Lockup.:lol

McCain had to slam dunk last night. He just kept dribbling. Doom is iminent.

Yep. Ironically, even the more liberal commentators on CNN last night noted several opportunities he had to make a slam dunk, but he took none of them. The overall consensus was that it was a draw, and that wasn't nearly enough for McCain.

I guess we should all just start practicing it now.

Say it with me... Emper... err... I mean President Obama.

:yuck (sorry, I just threw up a little bit in my mouth)

The thought depresses me. I gotta go buy something now.:monkey2

Yeah my dad is a die hard Republican and even he admitted yesterday that he thinks Obama is going to win the election.
