I'm looking forward to seeing the costume, but am not really feeling the sculpt or paint from this preview.

I think it looks pretty good actually. The thing is we have been waiting for so long for a new announcement, that this one had VERY big shoes to fill.

We'll see how it looks at SDCC. But, so far I think it looks decent. August 13 is pre-order day.

P.S. I am just glad we finally got another LotR P.F. announcement. I don't want this line to die. It's about time. I was getting worried for awhile...thanks SS for the new announcement.

I love the facial sculpt on this though..much better than the LS bust. They really captured Gandalf through his eyes. I can't wait to see this one in person at SDCC. The costume is going to be amazing.

I have a feeling this one will grow on me over time, and I'll end up pre-ordering him.

Finally...something to really be looking forward to. Thanks Sideshow!!

Where the hair/beard meets the costume is really throwing this off unfortunately. At least somethings here though.

Looks pretty sweet 2 me. The hair could use some tweaking but the face looks really good. Can't wait 2 see it in a couple weeks.

Looks decent...something about the beard and moustache doesn't look right. Almost too uniform. But, I'm glad the line still has a pulse.

I don't see a problem with it, looks great. I thought I was picky, I can't believe that this pic its taking hits, tough crowd. That sculpt is right on, I'm surprised since the Human Likeness' never come out right. I was expecting another frodo.

Looks ok but the Weta GTW bust is still best in my opinion.

It does look OK, but IMO it doesn't come close to the facial likeness of the SS/Weta GTW bust or the GWOS statue for that matter. Obviously we haven't seen the whole statue yet and perhaps when I do my opinion may change somewhat, but I don't even think it's as good as the LS Gandalf. Perhaps I was expecting too much, or perhaps SS should have hired one of the Weta sculptors for this one. Time will tell
