As long as you're happy with what you're collecting thats all that matters in the end. I wish I felt I could collect DC Directs or Diamond Select pieces. They've definitely improved over the years.

Space is the most limiting factor in this hobby. Soon I'll have to box up some of my pieces when the newer ones come down the line.

I've read this a few times, but what kinda cars are people buying?

I've seen lease payments in the $250-$350 range for some Honda vehicles for example. Since Sideshow's payment plan is showing $400/month payments, I think this is what TheWhatWhatNow was referring to.

My buddy's monthly Ferrari car payment is the price of WWoH, lol.

Thix is way too much. It should a grand for WW and another grand for the horse. And throw in the base for free. How did they arrive at $3599. It just seems too excessive to me. Now the IS WW that went to PO today for $999, that's very reasonable with all the extra parts it comes with.

Due to the overall complexity I never once actually thought this piece would be $2k. Sure it would've been nice though, as it's an instant preorder at that price; even though I don't have the space.

I thought it was going to be up to 3x the 1/3 regular, not 4x.

But it appears a lot of collectors thought it was going to go for around $2k.

It's a 1/3 scale horse :lol

1/3 scale horse that nobody wants nor cares about. Most of the cost is in the horse which is why this is a fail. People want wonder woman not the horse. Nobody would even think about buying this generic horse if it didn't have wonder woman on it. The statue itself is over 4 feet tall whoever designed this and approved it should be fired, prime 1 will be lucky if they sell 50 of these

True that nobody would want the horse alone, but with Wonder Woman the overall piece is exceptional; but as you said most of the cost has resulted from the horse which is unfortunate, but not totally unexpected if one just thought about it for a second.

And it just means that most of us will be waiting for the eventual Justice League 1/3 piece.... but in the interim I've got the Training costume version on preorder.

Probably.......unless he's rich?

Or he's a collector who's willing to forgo many statues (4-7 depending on scale) for this one?

Kidding for sure:) You can buy a lot of great horses for $2600 and still have enough to pay for the 1:3 scale Wonder Woman without Horse. Dark Rider of Mordor premium format blows this away for Horse sculpt and you could buy several of them complete with rider or you could buy almost every cool horse statue made for Lord of the Rings and have a half dozen horses sculpted more life like than this horse and still save money. A $2600 Horse should be the best ever made and so far both the Dark Rider statues (Weta and Sideshow) blow this horse away. I have seen Barbie horses not much worse than this horse. Very Sad that is is considered a couple grand horse for your Wonder Woman.

I really wonder why they decided to do this in 1/3 scale? Had they done this in 1/4 scale it would still have been a massive dynamic piece. It would have been more affordable for most. More people would be willing to make space for it and they would have sold a thousand of them easily. I mean, if they thought wow this would be really special in 1/3 scale then why stop there and not say wow this would be Really Special in 1/2 scale or 1 to 1 scale!
