No - I'm referring to the new Joker that is solicited at an SRP of $90.00.
That figure is way over priced. I don't think anybody would disagree with that sentimate.

This discussion simply boggles my mind.
I think everything has been said, so I'll just say I'm extremely happy that SST have a new body for us.
Well, I'm very pleased by the similarities between Prometheus and Neo-Guy, because my Neo-Guys pose beautifully and hold their poses until I change them. I was surprised by Dave's comment that they get loose. The inner ball joints are textured plastic same as the outside material; maybe they wear out. Mine are all recent purchases. I also like the little shoulder-shells that cover the gaps at the shoulders.
I'm equally pleased by the differences between Prometheus and Neo-Guy: the height; and the absence of musculature detail that, truth be told, isn't entirely accurate on the Neo-Guy, especially on the forearms which in my collection are often exposed.
I am hoping for a bottom neck ball (the one within the torso, not the one that goes into the head) that will adapt to the old style neck with an adapter (the Volks lower ball is huge, can't just pop off and must be replaced). But to get right down to it, to what's really important, because my wife looks at these figures too: Volks got no butt. He gots a very realistic flat man-@ss.
Prometheus need a Hot Toys butt!
According to the Q&A the new Prometeus will be adjustable for height by swapping out longer arms and legs and also for bulk. Which I assume would mean different chest pieces and what not... similar to what Medicom does.
So for me, I'm very excited about the new possibilities with this body and am very happy to see that Sideshow will continue to rock hard with thier 1/6 figures
I think of it this way - pretend you're designing a new body for a 1/6th figure and you want it to have all the articulation needed to get into any position a human body can. It also has to look natural under clothes and every pose you put it in has to conform to how human bone and muscle and skin would look in the same position.
So you look at all the bodies that exist now - buck, dragon, HT, medicom, volks, etc. and start designing your body...
The midsection needs to turn such a way and needs to be segmented just so. Does the buck do that? no. HT? no. dragon? no. medicom? almost, but not quite...volks? yea, that's the best solution to the midsection problem.
Okay, lets move to the thighs. They need to bend certain ways but not leave unnatural looking gaps at the hips. Which body does that? Dragon? no. HT? not quite. Medicom? nope. Volks? hmm, yea that's the best solution to that problem as well. And Takara used the same style hip/thigh join for the Cool Girls 2.0 - I'm not sure if it was on the Volks or the CG first.
But so moving on - looking at every area of the body, you look for the best solution. Some places there was a better way of doing it than on the Volks, so that solution was used. You take the best of what exists and put it all together to deliver a state of the art body. Why re-invent the wheel?
I'd rather see something like the HT female body.
You can find the CG body anywhere. It's all over. Plus, I don't think it would work well for Sideshow's figures. Especially, for semi-nude characters. It has just as many eye-sore joints.
Now I can see Aayla Secura being made with this, can't you? Nice realistic proportions and is athletically pleasing.
Come on Sideshow!

Wow, I had never seen this body before. Definitely the best of the bunch. All the others are unrealistic in proportions.
Most female actresses are unrealistic in proportions anyway though.
