No need, HT have had theirs for a while and Medi still uses the same body. In some ways, all other companies are catching up with Medi.

They should at least make a newer body composed of sturdier, more durable materials. Even the Buck, with all it had against it, was more durable.

In that regard, Medicom's got some catching up to do. I don't want to drop $30+ on a body that'll snap right out of the box.

Exactly because like MaulFan and others have said, Some head sculpts are going to need the neck (like Palpatine or an alien figure..).

Is there an existing adapter for Sideshow heads on different bodies?

The true type body has an adapter to fit the sculpted neck Sideshow heads.

I am sure this body will be adaptable too.

I guess when they start selling the new body loose they will address the neck attachment in some way.

The pro looks really good, hope the neck can be taken out like HT so i can replace some older SSC. This will be a alright figure for having exposed body parts.

Yes, Hot Toys' current True Type body has one.

They are very easy to find on ebay. If the prometheus body takes it, which I am sure it will, it should be no prob switching out buck bodies.

The *only* downside to the new bodies (no it isn't the increased price, that's justified) is that it makes the excitement over the upcoming ANH Han and Luke figures a tad bittersweet. To be so close to the Prometheus, yet so far....

Well, not that the release of Obi Wan didn't confirm it, but the fact that a specific body has been developed for Armored figures, I think that we are in for a great ride guys and gals! The days of Sideshow can't do this and that have come to an end!

Note that the elbows are smaller in proportion to the knees, just the way they should be. And the hips won't suck fabric into the joint.

Definitely. The muscles in the arms and calves are more filled out and better defined.
