I think there will need to be a place to discuss differences between these systems as more information comes out. That doesn't need to be here, but it will probably migrate over into the respective threads if this one is closed. Sometimes it's better to have a magnet for the conflict to keep other threads cleaner/safer

Every Poll is looking horrible for Xbox. I was so sure a month ago I was going to get the Xbox 1st

I remember seeing one poll that was 800 and change to 15,000 something in PS4's favor.

amazon took down the poll but last time I looked it was 35,000 to 1,450 LOL

I was actually wondering if the other way around was possible.
If MS announced it was coming out early, it would definitely get a bunch of sales from people who just want the first available next gen system, regardless of all these issues.

Im picking up both systems. Both systems have some great exclusives. I also rarely trade in my games any way and i have a decent 120MB net so check in doesn't bother me as my net is always on.

They are getting pounded but mostly it's internet froth. Closer to reveal there will be millions of people who will rely on just their own judgment and a few reviews. Launching first is a big +
If the system does get past it's initial problems I think it could still be successful. I for one would consider myself a "gamer" and I've not touched one "poll"
Polls mean nothing. It's a snapshot of the current climate which admittedly is PS4 heavy at the moment.

I like the 'lack of restrictions' on the PS4 but I suspect if there is a restriction option for developers then they will all tick it.
But no Rockstar, Bethesda, Bioware games ?
(Dragon Age III with a vague 'Fall 2014' date doesn't count )
Batman Origins maybe....
Assassins Creed 4 and GTA5 are on current gen, looking forward to that.
I've been gaming for 25 years and don't pay much attention to convention demos. How often have we seen things that look very pretty and either look very different when released, or have poo gameplay mechanics (or in IGN review a 7.5 score )
I did the midnight line up for the Xbox360 here in Oz because Elder Scrolls: Oblivion was a launch title. This time around I don't see a reason to buy at the moment.
