Content and satiated after their quarterly massacre and feeding of "the RM", the hideously disfigured beasts retire to their respective lairs, having absorbed the blood, sweat, and juices of their prey. Now bloated beyond recognition and grotesque to the core, these creatures prepare for their long dormant rest and ongoing scheming of ways to inflict maximum carnage to the next quarter's prey. Meanwhile, from beneath the rocks, lesser shadows emerge, eagerly and anxiously picking away at the remaining skulls and skin of they massacred RMs, while all the time watching their backs for the sudden return of the ever-so-hungry maniacs, hoping that they themselves may be fast enough to scrounge up a RM feast from the scrappy remains, and thus one day becoming worthy of their greater kin.
