He has a style people! This is his style! If you can't accept it, then I suggest you refrain from getting involved. He is not a photo realistic sculptor like Trevor. This is his style, like it or lump it.

I like it

Even Trevor has a "style". Look at almost all of his sculpts lips. Especially the top lip. It is really defined and sharp. Not saying its bad but there is a pretty definite through line.

Of course. Every sculptor has a trademark I guess. My overall point is Trevor's sculpts tend to look photo realistic.

100% of Rainman sculpts have a style, they have the Rainman trademark. His work is stylised, and he freely admits it. I think Bill and Anton have the Rainman style even if they are genuinely close to being photo realistic.

What are people so disappointed about? The fact it isn't photo realistic?

It's like saying these two guys are a miss. They don't look like Statham or Jones

No of course they don't, they are stylised interpretations of them. They catch the essence though! We all know who they are meant to be!

Rainman is no different. He is nowhere near as stylised as Damn Toys, but I think you can appreciate the point I am trying to make.

I am not saying I don't think he captures likeness, because I do. However there are a lot of members that continually gripe about his sculpt/style. So why continue being here?

Yes, it would help if he reworked the eyelids a bit, maybe open the eyes more. The mouth, lips look to perfectly accentuated, like if lipstick were applied. If he would tweak it with a bit more anger. The present sculpt is just very soft, really doll like.

Bill was almost 99% accurate, and this one is prolly 80%. Since he mentioned that hes making a grail figure like bill, i guess most people's expectancy jumped at that level.

Its not bout his sculpting style, but i guess most folks here that do the complaining just want him to tweak the sculpt and bring more likeness.

Why are some of you so defensive of RM? In the same way peeps can step away from this fig, peeps also have a right to voice their opinion.if i was getting ready to pay $1500+ in anticipation and saw this, i would be a little pissed too. Look at his anton, bill, and doc, he is more than capable of hitting homeruns. Hopefully he tweaks this.

So basically redo the whole face lol hardly a minor tweak
