Willy Wonka is one of my all-item favorite movies. I watched it the first night it ever came on tv. The figure is a no brainier to me, but I agree with Turbo's comments. Only the sculpt needs a little different look, something which was discussed when the sculpt was in process. The clothing, accessories, top notch! Hopefully, another artist will see the love for this character and decide to give it a run.

i agree bill and the oompa, but i really cant stop going to look at that BWE figure,! it might not count because its a ooak custom, but if that were a release it would be the new RM king to me. its that visualy stunning, and with the prostetic it trumps the eagle eye. standing alone with harrow and wilder the harrow wins hand down. please not trying to start a fight. just my opinion. now go take a peek again at that figure. mind blowing.

Let's be honest. It's an underwhelming set. The accessories are simple. The costumes are basic. The likenesses aren't perfect.

Im happy with mine, but I wouldve been MUCH happier at about $300 less. It's really on par with an Iminime release in terms of quality.

LOL....its funny when you think about the accessories each one of the PF guys received...i mean...when you look at Anton...and factor in the tank and all the resin used for just that....not to mention the shotgun....and you start to wonder what benchmark does RM use to say enough is enough...other then just the actual number of things in each set....cause if he used quantity of resin used for accessories for the PF releases....there would have been alot left over for other items to try and include...

math don't add up....

To be honest... he could have offered the set as a duo fro about $1000.

That would have made the gap between H&C and FS even bigger in terms of value for money personally I think he made the right call with how they where distrubuted. The lack of accessories was the major concern for me

Where was the briefcase? The hamburger? The big kahuna bag? It just seems like Rainman half-assed it. I'm not trying to hate, its obvious.

Erm like I said the lack of accessories was the main concern for me not the distribution of the dork clothing

THe sculpts too man. He's been half assing it since his iminime stuff too. His lecter is not passable. He had to redo Tony Soprano too. You can tell when a guy's heart is not in it.

Personally I love the Vince sculpt and we still havent seen the retweaked Jules sculpted painted up so will reserve my final judgement until then. Like I've said before the guys human he can't nail every likeness 100% everytime. Maybe RM just couldn't get Gandolfini or Hopkins likenesses down and what we saw was the best he can do? Doesnt neccessarily mean he half assed the sculpts.

All I know is I've personally seem him go from here's my first WIP to 'oh, casts are done!' on a couple of occasions at least. That doesn't sound like someone who is taking their time. Art takes time. You need to step away to gain perspective. It's clear he's got a bottom line and that motivates him more than producing the perfect likeness. If he can get some sculpts right he can get them all... or at least close enough. The lecter was TERRIBLE imo.
