Agreed, but the baseball bat scene is sooo money, I have to watch that movie whenever it's on and Sean Connery is also such a boss, not to mention the score, we need some Eliot Ness in our lives, Chicago needs to be represented and a Deniro Capone with the white suit would be epic!

Its all about the Oompa Harrow < Wonka but Oompa < Harrow. Don't get me wrong Wonka is awesome himself but he's not the same without his mate

I give Bill his props, but its becoming more and more feasible to bash him and bash him good.

Haven't seen not one bashed Wonka and have yet to see anyone take a crack at making an Oompa.

Having said that I still want a Bill in my collection one day

Fantastic! Serang is another master of the craft. I have his Jimi Hendrix figures and I don't think they can be topped by any figure. (at least I don't think they can)

The Harrow sculpt is hands down his best sculpt IMO based on likeness and uniqueness. I'd like to see the entire piece and all accessories to judge where I feel it sits on the hierarchy.

The way things went down I'm sure that stateofqatar got scared away but I would love for him to start a thread to share pics of all 3 commissions with us.

The hair could be an issue aswell. I don't think sculpted hair would look too good on a Wonka figure.

i would say that WOnka and the Oompa together are very formidable....but wonka by himself...not sooo much........Bill is/was good....but you will see more of him before you will see more on the DX Wonka set....Harrow is good...like 99% likeness and accessories good....I really hope Bickle is the figure of the year....

I think Velvet Morning would do a great job however, not sure that he would, I believe he uses the same tailor as Rainman.

i have that as one of my little side projects....trying to see who i would be able to get to make 2 additional oompas...with different facial expressions....but i have other wants that i am persuing at the moment....


Oompas are great!!!!
