I agree with Robbie fullstop.

Also I can't believe people think Vince is anything other than superb! Light in accessories yes, but absolutely nothing wrong with the sculpt and clothing etc.

Even if you dig the likeness on the face, the hair is unfortunate. I know why it 'had' to be like that, but it doesn't change how it is in hand, which is a sculpt that is limited to being posed front-on.

Honestly, the hair line doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Really? It doesn't bother me a great deal, but it does niggle. I always prefer to be the guy who isn't bothered by the small things, but to me Vince's hairstyles throughout the movie were a big part of the presentation of the character. I think it's a very good - not great - likeness of Vince, but I prefer Xeno's (in detail as well as expression). I haven't bashed mine together though, so my opinion could change for the better once I've lived with it on display.

I actually don't get what you mean by that?

It looks great looking straight forward. I have tilted it both left and right and that works just fine. How else would you pose the head?

Stuart Little?

that far back..It seems RM is more interested in doing stuff like that and was Hepburn one of his choosing too? He seems to want to do characters that would be less interesting to most on here, and that might be why he chooses to let members decide what his projects are going to be.If the members here decide its usually from a cult classic or more recent film, which means guaranteed sales. I'm not sure as I wasn't around but, were his own projects less popular sales wise than the member chosen ones?:dunno

I know it is ever so slightly narcissistic to keep quoting my own pictures when somebody questions the quality of Vince, but this chappy is a quality quality piece! How the f__k anybody could call that sculpt in to question boggles my mind! It is supremely spot on!

Narcissist! lol I too think Vince looks great. The best 1/6 representation we have had thus far. I think this one blows away all previous attempts at the character.

That's what I mean, it looks fine facing forward, but when you move around the figure, the awkward hair styling sticks out quite apparently to me. I can't articulate what it is about the rest of the sculpt that I'd favour Xeno's, which doesn't help discussion I know.. all I can say is 'there's something about it - most likely the signature RM eyes - that my brain doesn't perceive as being right'. Maybe it's just a question of style.

Anyway, moot point, because I'm happy enough with Vince. My real concern is Jules, which in its current form I'm not nearly as happy with. I'm looking forward to seeing RM's revisions, but regardless, I'm picking up the head sculpt just so Vince has his partner.

Hey guys. I had to cancel my VIP fullset. (I'm just going for my Head and clothing set). So there it is. One available right now.

Scroll down to the VIP one. You won't see it on the normal Full set link.

Carnt find it com , I have no VIP on my rm site ...damm
As I only want the full set not h&c to .

Everything Lejuan is saying here is bang on to a tee.

For me the eyes and eyebrows is what makes the sculpt fall apart. I see about 30% travolta in there I'd rate it about 3/10 in that area. Aeons looks more like him because of the way she painted the eyebrows not as dark and the angle is more accurate. Eyebrows can almost make or break a likeness an underrated and often overlooked quality to sculpt and paint.

The nose looks off to me also, specifically the bridge, if travolta has the boxer nose at all its exaggerated about 100 percent here, i rate that area 3/10

The mouth and chin area captures him well, a tad exaggerated but it fits the bill I'd go so far to rate that area a 9/10

The paint and sculpt realism is second to none Rainman calibre, 10 out of 10.

The hair, a 2/10 it's too long and the problem is not even the way it attaches but the anime looking zig zaging at the bottom. It really makes the thing look cartoonish and ruins the realism for me.

The head is also oversized, all in all I think the head averages out to be about a generous 7 to me sometimes i look at it and feel its closer to a 6 to be honest but 7 seems more appropriate. Xenoviper's id rate a generous 8.

Xeno has the best Vince headsculpt...its not as long in the face...Travolta has a "short" face if you will....RM tried to fill the head with as much as Travolta as he could...again...i didn't buy for many reasons...this being the most apparent to me....but like i said....everyone that got him...i'm glad you guys are happy...bring on an accurate Bickle....:)

I personally feel Xeno's is the 3rd best, behind Snyder-Man and Rainman. But, the nice thing is all of them are out there, so whatever your taste you can find something that suits you.

I really wish I jumped on Vince when he went up. There's some going around right now but all the freaking sellers seem to want "money" and don't want to give it to me for "free". :)

:exactly: To each their own.

As for me I love RM's Vince.

Anyone care to throw up comparison pics with the other 2 sculpts (Xeno's and Snyderman's) ? :dunno

Apologies if these are anyone's heads. I just did a google search:
