I think he actually made the clothing sets cheaper rather than push the head + clothing sets up. They were 400$ for Anton, Plainview and Pee Wee, but now it's back to 350$ with the Pulp figures.

I know :lol. He said that he was gonna hike the price and then dropped it. I think that it's this particular release though due to the lack of intricate accessories. It would be an extra $60 to add the dork clothes so maybe that's part of the mentality.

I wish that he’s talk about a price hike and then drop it on the FS :lol

He did say that, and it could be because of the simplicity of the PF outfits that they didn't see that price increase. If/when it happens, it will happen, but I still think you'll be getting a good deal for the price when you consider the quality of the outfits, accessories, sculpt, and paint apps. If it were DF Studios still doing the paint work, then that might be a bigger issue from my POV.

My point is still this though--truly "gold" custom prices are full set prices from Rainman, and if your argument is that you're not getting your money's worth there, maybe it would make sense to consider the cheaper, less "special" option. The problem is that it is less special of course, but if you don't think his work justifies that premium then maybe it wouldn't be such a major shift.

And Jules is gone. No more are available so I'm assuming the numbers are in and orders are placed with the caster and tailor.

I'm sad I missed out, the timing was bad for me, but hopefully someone will be trying to sell their painted Jules head when they get it.

Well, if anyone here can grab an extra painted Jules head I would very grateful and gladly reimburse you, really don't want to miss out on Jules.
