There is nothing wrong with discussing your thoughts via pros and cons of buying a figure, especially a purchase as large as this. IMO everything looks amazing, and thats why I still might buy the DX even though the price is off, but the concerns raised are warranted and understandable.

All I see is alot of ignorance and distasteful ****. Do you know the man's cost and work procedure. Who is anyone to say it's too much. There's also a base and clothing and hours of paintwork for each piece. You can dislike the price. But C'mon man this carrying on and dissecting it is pretty childish and disrespectful. No wonder Lee doesn't come here anymore.

I don't think a dude talking about dressing grown men up as twins and hookers and mail order brides counts as discussing pros and cons. I'm not surprised it's coming from Lakhota though, 90% of what he posts is offensive or distasteful. It is a lot of money but it's a lot of work too. This is a job, a business that he uses to make a living.
I agree with you a lot man, but sorry not on this, I don't see it as ignorance and distasteful at all, what are we suppose to be given something that tastes bad and go "mmmmm that was delicious can I have more please?" No one is saying his work is bad, far from it everything looks incredible, but the prices aren't adding up, and that to me deserves dissecting, I mean we are the consumers, we have a right to know what we are paying for and a right to voice our opinions about it, no one has called Lee a crook, or a money hungry person or anything like that, no one said lets boycott till he changes his prices, everyone here is simply talking about the prices we've heard and "trying" to justify them.

But thats the thing, we aren't (well I guess I can only speak for myself) dissecting the prices so Lee changes his mind, I know it will stay as is, but these forums are for discussion, so I was just discussing my opinions towards how the price breaks up. Some people are just waaaaay too over sensitive.

Are we supposed to narrow down the cost of what everything is and expect he makes no profit? If I were casting, painting, assembling, I'd want to make some money on top of what I paid to put the piece together. There shouldn't be any dissecting, the price is the price, and if you buy it, that's what it's worth.

Mags not a knock against but you would be MY favorite customer...you would NEVER question my price hikes at all...and therefore we would all be happy...my conscious might say something to me every now and then...BUT I will not make an assumption on RMs pockets because I have dedicated myself to this from a cash POV but as a businessman...I don't have to like it but I can sure respect the ability to do it without flinching....lol...which is what i'm doing....if we can't have an opinion on the pricing then what are we....drones?

Hahah what? Who said he can't make a profit haha, no one said that anywhere. And why can't there be dissecting? Who is it hurting if the price is already established, why can't we talk about our thoughts on it? So people can dissect his WIP Photos and nit pick every detail but price is off limits? Where was this talk about his amount of work sculpting certain details that people wanted changed?
