The only bad thing I remember about the film was Tarantino's Australian accent...
I remember it being like 15 minutes after Candie too??? Will have to watch again!!!:rotfl

You do realize that its not like its a licensed product where the guy is getting royalties right? :cuckoo :lol

like I said, principal! I obviously know Im not putting money in the guys pocket (except for my movie admission) but still I wouldn't anyways out of the PRINCIPAL that Id be spending $400 dollars to have a figure of a character who was a scumbag, and proved that no matter how awful a human being you are, you can still get ahead over honest folks. A man who is in no way admirable, likeable, or somewhat relatable, and a performance that IMO wasn't even close to Leo's best work. In No way did he turn the character into something of an icon that would warrant a space in my figure collection

but on top of all of this, agree with everyone else around here, the movie is 2 freaking weeks old and in my opinion should be nowhere near the top of any custom company's radar.

Django is not only already a cult fixture after one year, but we also all got teased with the possibility of amazing figures from Enterbay. scroll through that old thread for a few minutes and you'll see how many instant buys you'll have if you convinced Denny or Rainman to tackle that line..

I don't think any movie that starred Leo DiCaprio and was directed by Scorcese will ever be considered cult classic. In fact, Scorcese and Leo DiCaprio collaborations are among the worst of Scorcese's body of work. Reminds me of an Allstar sports team that never wins a championship. Only reason why Gangs or The Departed can be considered somewhat cult is because D.Day Lewis or Nicolson pretty much carry the performance, not that Leo is a terrible actor because he's not, but I've never walked out of a Scorcese X DiCaprio film thinking "wow, what a memorable figure DiCaprio played".

As for Wolf, I've seen it all already in Boiler Room. Nothing new about it other than Wolf is based on a true story.

Have you actually seen Wolf yet Turbo?

Caught it a few days ago, I thought it was good and really enjoyed it but walked into it already expecting that Boiler Room tone, stuff like that Boiler Room Hotel Room scene with the stockbrokers lined up Hotel floor room door wide open, taking turns doggie banging those two high grade escorts....."Let's switch I like yours better" :lol

Done and done.

That plot has been done before but its all about the execution.. and it was amazing. I think its the best Dicaprio/Scorses collaboration and up near the top of Marty's entire filmography.

Completely agree Rob! ... Well said!

Oh, I agree with you. Scorcese films are a staple and some of the finest filmmaking. I've just never been sold on that particular collaboration between Scorcese and Leo. After Deniro and Scorsese, I don't think there's a better collaborative force for Scorcese. Deniro is but Leo, he's just not "that Dude". But apparently he really likes Leo because they've got a bromance that mirrors Johnny Depp and Tim Burton and kind of the same track record for un-memorable films too. Other than Ed scissorhands nothing else stands out for me, and with Leo....he was like a placeholder in Gangs until DDL stepped on the scene. As far as the wolf, it was good.....let's see if it ages well.

I will agree with that GONY is just a mediocre movie for me the only thing saving it was DDL. But Dicaprios never been better than in Wolf..his best work yet. Give him that Oscar already since he was snubbed for Django.
I will also say that my fav Depp/ Burton film is easily Ed Wood
