Leo x Tarantino is a better fit. I want to see more of these two work together. I feel like Tarantino can create amazing characters for Leo. That work relationship needs to continue even though Tarantino already has his go to guy.....Sam Jackson

I don't think any movie that starred Leo DiCaprio and was directed by Scorcese will ever be considered cult classic. In fact, Scorcese and Leo DiCaprio collaborations are among the worst of Scorcese's body of work. Reminds me of an Allstar sports team that never wins a championship. Only reason why Gangs or The Departed can be considered somewhat cult is because D.Day Lewis or Nicolson pretty much carry the performance, not that Leo is a terrible actor because he's not, but I've never walked out of a Scorcese X DiCaprio film thinking "wow, what a memorable figure DiCaprio played".

As for Wolf, I've seen it all already in Boiler Room. Nothing new about it other than Wolf is based on a true story.

I pretty much agree with you. I thought Boiler Room was a really good movie. When I walk out of a movie and what sticks in my mind is the main or supporting character, then I want a figure of them. If I think of the movie in general with no character standing out, then I really have no interest in a figure. Good Bad Ugly, Taxi Driver, Rocky, No Country For Old Men, American Psycho, The Shining, etc. Those are movies where the main character steals the show and should be represented in 1/6. I know Tuco was an exception, but that is why he is represented.

Of course RM wants to make "what his fans want". That's been the case for quite a while contrary to popular belief (although I believe that way of thinking has changed in the minds of most over the last 18 months or so. I think that the FC trio was the last he produced without any suggestions/polls/etc. what-so-ever). He obviously relies on us for suggestions, so they are more than welcomed by him. That's why it never really sounded right to me that Amsterdam was "his choice". His choice out of a few suggestions possibly but he didn't pull that one out of his pocket on his own.

Most of you know I'm a Duke, Torrance & Pikey supporter (I'm not opposed to a Dandy Bill but I'd like to see other things come first). Out of the three I'd pick Torrance next and here's my reasoning; the Pikey should be put off for the right body to hit the market (there aren't any rigs like Bickle to cover up the eye sores) and Duke should be a SDX. I'm not sure that everyone is ready to line up for another SDX right after Bickle. Plus with Robbie thinking of doing Duke with Mike... well what more do I have to say. I'd LOVE The Man's touch on Duke but Robbie + MG may deliver us something over the top with that.

So will I get stoned to death if I say I'd like to see a DX Torrance with an alternate sculpt? I think it's necessary TBH. Accessories that I'd love to see are real metal axe, whiskey bottle & glass and typewritter.

I never need a break from psycho killers , but it seems others do. Torrance is my pick from the current list but I'm not opposed to something more light harted.

That suit needs expert tailoring. Based on the American Psycho suit, Iminime is not there yet.

Modern movie characters based on genuine/ true story/ living people done as modern film characters is ehhhh! I would definately pass.....but a Monsiuer Candie! YES.

I read a few people saying this and I'm not seeing what you guys are . I think the suit (especially the shirt) is a great piece of work in general, but for the price it can't be beat!!! That was a $360 Reg./$550 DX offering!!!!

I truly believe Rainman did choose Amsterdam and wanted to do him, he told me his Bill would be happy because he will meet his enemy haha, but then again who knows, anyway I can't blame Lee for wanting to go with the most popular decision, it is going to cause him less headaches and provide a better financial success... as if his figures don't always sell out haha. Anyway I will be excited and entertained seeing WIPs no matter what he decides on next. Very excited to hear what it is!

I have an idea.

If Rainman decides on Torrance

- Make an alternate sculpt
- Make the regular set with the option to buy 1 HS or the Alternate HS or even both
- Regular HS painted by Rainman Alternate HS painted by (Forgot her name)
-DX HS painted by Rainman as well as the alternate HS
- continue to offer both HS for sale whenever he offers them up in the future.


You make that alternate HS a DX and exclusive its going to get recasted. We all know it.

Offer both HS indefinitely and the money goes in Rainman's pocket.

Make the DX, Rainman's paintjob for both HS.

Some could live without Rainman's paintjob, but for the completest they will want the Man's paintjob.

Yep! Move along Torrance is done. The normal headsculpt looks great the best Jack likeness yet, I don't think RM could top it..the crazy sculpt is meh, its off a bit

all due respect to snyderman, rainmain is just in another league in terms of sculpt refinement, quality, and paint. this should in no way discourage RM from going after Torrance. The likeness on snycermans sculpt is great, but its lacking in every other department IMO

Yes maybe in the sculpt refinement area RMsTorrance will look better but that's it.. and with a better paint job Snydermans sculpt would look even better. RMs likeness will most likely come out with his signature doe eyes and soft baby faced expression that would totally throw off Jack Torrance.
