Rambo 5 is more about what Lionsgate want not Sly, by making the movie they will produce his other projects such as The Expendables sequels and his gangster biopic I forget the name of. I believe Rambo 4 only came about due to them negotiating with Sly to do Rocky Balboa, Rambo has proven that the franchise is still capable of generating profit. From what i'm told filming of Rambo 5 will begin in the spring whether the script is finished or not, but then a lot of Sly's best work has happened that way.
