For those questioning the sculpt:

I just want to say, this is probably the best human likeness hot toys has pulled off....Custom painters will be able to create an exact mini stallone replica out of that sculpt.Way to go out toys.

OneSixthWarriors has a posting saying Quarter 2 2007 for a release, but I think during Toy Fair, someone said they heard it would be a late 2007 early 2008 release, hopefully someone will have it up for order soon, should likely be available at Sideshow, I think they have a deal to offer this whole series.

I agree with you on this one.....the head is great!!! This will be one that I won't consider repainting though. The HT paint aps isn't too bad. Better than many of SS of late, with the exception of that Arnold terminator. I am really digging it and I look forward to having this one in my collection.'

The First Blood Rambo isn't bad in my opinion. The figure in my opinion rocks!! I am totally happy with him but I must say that this Rambo III figure blows him out of the water. Home Run Hot Toys!!!!

I was more than happy with the First Blood Rambo I got. I thought the clothing, sculpt and paint apps were nothin' but tight.
This one appears to have an even better sculpt...Hot Toys Rocks

I hope this one does release soon. I noticed some HT Terminators on ebay today so they must be close to getting here. Can't wait!

The arrows themselves are the same as the Rambo 2 figure, but what's nice is the quiver and bow are all new versions.

Its great to have that "rack' on the bow so you can actually see the arrows.

Other than the boots and the black bandana, isn't this the same outfit he wore in II... up until he lost his shirt?

As far as films go, I have to say I prefer II over III. But this is clearly a better figure... at least this proto.

Now, I wonder who amongst the customizers planning to buy this figure will make a 1/6 dead sheep and get a 1/6 horse to depict Rambo playing with the Afghans. I'm also curious if anyone plans to give him the wound on his right side from after he blows the Russian base to hell from the inside out. It'd be really cool if they did another Trautman as captive so you could stand John and Trautman together like the end of the movie, I always liked seeing them fight side by side, gave you a glimpse of what went down in Vietnam between the two after seeing Trautman coach from the sidelines while Rambo was on the field for the first 2 films.
