Walking Dead S2 8.5/10

Loving this show so far. Some great characters developing nicely! There were times in the first 2/3 of the show I found a little tedious, but come the last 1/3 it really started to pick up for me.

Was the "twist" aliens? Because that was pretty clear from the giant skinny Alien in the trailer.

Nope, it is clear in the trailers that it is Aliens.

The twist is:

The aliens take the older son when the movie tried to make you think they were going to take the younger son. But by then you don't really care.

Damn shame. There's so much potential do an intense, horrifying abduction story. You could make it so visceral, and creepy, that it would most certainly freak out even the most hardden horror veteran.

I think alien abduction stories definitely have the potential to make the most frightening/disturbing horror films of all time.

Ghosts and demons and all that are scary, but I find aliens to be so much more terrifying because they're as "unknown" as you can get I guess.

I'm too afraid to ever watch Signs again, and although I'd like to eventually sit down and watch The X-files some day, I can't make it through that creepy-as-**** theme song. Damnit now it's stuck in my head again.

Hotel Transylvania: 6/10
Not as stupid as I thought it would be, and has a couple of really funny moments, but the movie could have been a lot, a lot better. The story was kind of lame, the trailer pretty much tells you the whole thing.

is the spoilers from a movie that is been out 3 months ago, saying "Last year" like that makes it sound like no one should be mad and the spoilers are not big deal because the movie came out so long ago, but you don't realize the movie barely has come out on Blu Ray.
