Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.
Ya know...ain't this the damned truth? That man is world class in both catagories: acting and *********gery.
It has proved to make it impossible to refuse to see his films. Even the part he played in Tropic Thunder was well-done even if it was not as funny to me as it was to some people. You could tell he really put himself into the part.
Oh, and by the way - Tropic Thunder 7/10. Even though a lot of the humor was re-hash, you can't go wrong with...
"You never go full retard"
and
"What do you mean, you people?"
"What do YOU mean, What do you mean, you people?" (how do you punctuate that?)
Ben Stiller's and Jack Black's parts were a little same old , same old (and still worth some laughs). But RDJr. got into a role that you don't see quite as often with the actor playing a person who is playing another person for a large part of the movie. He did this one as well as Robin Williams in Mrs. Doubtfire and John Travolta and Nicholas Cage in Face Off. Not academy award performances, but very entertaining just the same.
valkyrie - 8/10
great film as much as a douche tom cruise is he puts in a good performance
