I had hoped to review Gremlins about now, but it seems it was a little above my 5yr old daughter's level.
I havent watched it in quite awhile and I must say its not as kid-friendly for today's coddled upbringing.... :

Disappointing, but still a decent flick. No where near as good as Drive. I did love the visuals. But I found parts of the film to be lacking.

The Purge - 5 out of 10

Stupid idea for a movie if I ever seen one. Alas, it entertained at moments. Doesn't hurt that Adelaide Kane is pure eye candy.

Yeah, even Monster Squad seems kind of rough by today's standards. My kids WILL watch Ghostbusters when they're around 5 years old, though. I want them to be as obsessed with it when they are older as I am

Really liked it. Solid performances, especially Law.

Beautifully shot as well. Not seen a thriller as good as this for some time.

Indeed. I went in knowing nothing, and for that enjoyed it all the more I think.

Great performances and beautifully shot. Like I say, one of the best thrillers I have seen in a while.
