The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - 6/10

Lord of the Rings trilogy - 9.5/10

Each time I watch The Hobbit it only gets worse. CGI and overly goofy characters/moments only get more blatant.

The score is so underwhelming and forgettable, which is such a shame because the LotR score is one of the best movie scores out there. The same can be said for every aspect of this film though, it's just taken an overall huge drop in quality from LotR.

I can't think of one memorable moment in this jumbled mess of a movie. Just feels like a bad LotR rip-off at this point.

What I really liked about Wolverine was that it was a self contained story and didn't have anything but the Wolverine universe in it aside from the secret ending.

Elysium - 7.5/10

Incredibly predictable, but still a decent watch. It's a pity Sharlto Copley isn't in more stuff.

3:10 to Yuma (remake) - 9/10

I forgot how amazing this film was, how charismatic Crowe was, and how much Bale disguised himself into the role. Just brilliant. Makes me really want to see The Wolverine now, since they were both directed by James Mangold.

Blackfish - 6/10.

I've watched other Seaworld documentaries before, so this one didn't particularly blow me away like everyone said it would. It had a few things I hadn't seen in other documentaries, but everything else seemed rehashed. It was still worth a watch.
