Shadow of the Vampire:9/10

The action is incredible, there's a tank battle in the film that had me on the edge of my seat, you definitely see it soon Gasp.

:(

It's my fave out of the lot.

Oh, damn, my bad, I meant to type 7 instead of 6 :slap I didn't notice till now.

No, my score is 7.5. :lol fixed.

It used to be mine too, but I've found that it's not aging well imo, and it's even more noticeable in comparison with Days of future past and 1st Class which are imo far better in almost every aspect.

Magneto, Charles, Wolverine, Mystique, Cyclops and Rogue are still great in it, but Storm is awful, the same for Toad and Sabretooth, the script has some great parts, and some very bad ones.

The intro for Wolverine and the 1st minutes of the movie are still perfect though.

Come on man - Famke was excellent!

Anyway fair enough, but I love Halle's long straight white hair, & James Hetfield Sabretooth. :lol

There are some average things about it too I guess (not Ray Park's best work as you say & certain dialogue moments etc), but it's actually still one of my fave comic book films - period.

Just saw Dracula Untold

7/10

It was ok but how do you rate a movie of such an iconic person at PG13? Bram Stoker's Dracula is still by far the best with Gary Oldman.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) - 9/10
Much better than the Swedish version, and a bit more accurate to the book.

The power of Vintij. :lecture
He gave me the puppy eyes.

Gone Girl - 8.5 out of 10. Shout out to my city of Winnipeg in it. That was fun! So far my favourite film of 2014. Edge of Tomorrow is 1b to its 1a.

The Fault of our Stars - 8 out of 10. Great chemistry from the lead actor and actress. Very convincing. Definitely a tear jerker for this guy because I just lost a father to Cancer last year and my favourite Aunt several years prior to it.

Maze Runner - 6 out of 10. Not bad. Not great, but the action sequences were fun for a teen flick.

Raid Redemption - 7 out of 10. It was fun, but no where near as good as its sequel. Strange, I don't get to say that often.

Raid 2 - 8.5 out of 10. Love the action in this one.
