I managed to avoid it for so long, but in anticipation of SPECTRE I've been filling the gaps by watching some of the Bond movies I hadn't yet seen and revisiting some of my favourites. I watched Casino Royale to wash the taste of Die Another Day out... it's a good remedy.

Heh, yeah, we have DAD to thank for Casino Royale turning out the way it did. Had Brosnan's sequels been as solid as Goldeneye was, they wouldn't have recast or rebooted the series.

I like Goldeneye a lot. I don't hate TND or TWINE. They're not great but they're watchable. DAD is as bad as Bond gets. I am not a Moore fan but I'll acknowledge the few of his I've seen are probably better movies. I do like that fencing scene though!

The Loft (2015) - 5.5/10

It was nothing special and had a slow start but it did manage to hold my interest until the end and it had a couple genuinely surprising twists. Rachael Taylor (blond hacker from first Transformers movie) looks like she could be shaping up to be the next Rosamund Pike.

I find the PT way more enjoyable and re watchable though.

For sure. I love PT, seen RotS two times on a big screen.

That's the funny thing, the movie has two really good sequences - the opening sequence, and then the sword fight. But the rest is just... meh. Bland garbage. Ridiculous cartoony crap.

I caught 'Chronicle' for the first time last night -- 6 / 10

I like the premise - & some sequences were really nicely handled, but it just got sillier as it went on.

Maze runner scorch trials i didnt expect to like this one but I'm hooked and if like Walking dead will like this one. I liked actor little finger from Game of thrones in this that plays another pimp sort of boss. Anyway kinda like a sped up story of walking dead give it a 7.
