The Shining ('80). 9/10.

What a classic for me. Never gets old and holds up very well compared to the horror $h1t we get today.
Written by King, directed by Kubrick, add a little Nicholson and this one will last for a very long time. :rock

The Shining 8.5/10

Casino 7/10

Pulp Fiction 9/10

A Clockwork Orange 8/10

The Wolf of Wall Street 7/10

Showdown In Little Tokyo - 9.9/10

Fantastic B-Movie schlock from the director who gave us Commando. Starring Dolph Lungdren as the world's most physically-imposing weeaboo and Brandon Lee as a half-Japanese police officer with absolutely no knowledge of Japan.

Loses .1 of a point for clearly running out of money before the last ten minutes or so of the film. Also a sad glimpse into what could have been, as Brandon Lee steals almost every scene he's in.

It was on TV over here in OZ the other night, but I missed half of it, so I didn't watch much.

So true about Brandon.. damn shame.

Lincoln - 8/10. Fairly dry, and very politicky. But the performances tie everything together nicely and maintained my engagement. The elements of typical Spielberg schmaltz feel a little out of place though in the small parts where they pop up.

M (1931) - 8.5/10. Very cinematic for such an early film, in regards to the camerawork.

Wow, really?! I'm not in any hurry to see this, but I am interested and will get to it eventually. The plot has me intrigued.

I really enjoyed it...wasn't 100% accurate to the book, but what film is? They got the tone just right though, and the visuals were beautiful. Also, Matt Damon and space is a winning combination for me.

The Bourne Identity 8/10 I forgot how good this was.

Need to watch the other 2.

Yup. Great trilogy of films. I'd probably give it a 9. The sequels might be slightly better. I saw Legacy once. I thought introducing a new character was the right direction for the franchise as Bourne's arc is perfectly concluded in Ultimatum. But it fell flat. I can hardly remember a thing from it to be honest.

Did I hear a fifth one starring Damon was happening?

I'd love to see that again. Another one I haven't seen since it first came out on VHS probably.
