I've seen the Star Wars OT re-release.

What? They look identical! jabba.jpg

It's not like I have trouble with a funny/silly Batman either. I love the 60's show and movie, but Batman and Robin were trying to do that and failed...miserably. It literally killed the franchise for years, they scrapped a planned 5th movie and just waited until the time was right to get things rolling again. I guess without it we wouldn't have gotten the Nolan Batman movies, so thanks for that anyway! :)

Yeah, 60's Batman is great. Batman and Robin, though... it just comes off as childish and stupid.

You haven't seen bad CG until you've seen SyFy CG!! :panic:

You should watch the Amazing Bulk.

MY EYES!

In honor of Halloween, today I watched the William Friedkin classic. . . .the French Connection! 8/10

I love that movie... someone needs to make a Popeye Doyle figure some day...

The Howling 8/10 Lots of screentime for werewolves, interesting premise

Silver Bullet 7/10 premise and set up was good, not enough shots of the werewolf.

Can we please get a 1/6 werewolf worthy of the self!

Crazy Stupid Love - 8/10
Rom coms are my guilty pleasure and I was meaning to watch this one for a while.

Pretty good, usually when watching rom coms there are moments you go "couldn't you have done this to save you trouble?" at the expense of the drama of course, but this one's pretty tight.

Argo - 9/10

I watched this solely to get a taste of Terrio's writing but I was very etertained.

If BvS' writing is half as good DC is set to have one of the best written CBMs

"You can teach a rhesus monkey to be a director in a day"

"We did suicide missions in the army that had better odds than this"

So many good quotes :lol

They should have just focused on a new Cenobite rather than recast Doug Bradley. That **** was a disgrace.

Or just not made another one in a history of bad films (outside H1 and H2)

There was supposed to be a reboot staring Doug Bradley again, but I don't think it's happening.

I think I've mentioned it before, but I only got up to Hellraiser 3, & it was obvious the series was already going down the crapper at that point. :lol

Luther (2003) - 9/10

I feel like I posted this last year but this production would have benefited from being made as a miniseries. Two hours isn't long enough and this movie would be confusing/boring to anyone that's not familiar with the events or players of the Lutheran Reformation. But they did a great job with the time allotted. I especially like the casting and the wardrobe.

B&R: 73/100
Always have a blast with this one. :lol

Speed: 84/100.

One of my favorite films, some good like references of the film. Always liked the cast. Hopper was just a crazy sob but with a funny **** attitude. Reeves was good, but they needed to pick a charter trait. He seemed all over the place. This also was the film that gave me a big huge crush on Sandra Bullock.

Elevator sequence was great! Would probably see it again before next weekend. :lol

I just watched Jupiter Ascending on blu-ray on my new 130 inch screen with Sony High End PJ and 2 massive 18in subs and WOW. The picture was amazing and flawless and all of the space scenes were so black and sharp. The bass was pounding and shaking the whole house at times and the surround sound was all the way around during explosions with debris flying behind me. The movie overall was good, with CGI and Sound a 10/10, but it was still lacking somehow and that's why it gets a 9/10 from me. This movie deserves to be seen on a very large screen and with massive sound to truly be enjoyed.

Wolfman 2010 - 6.5/10

Boring. The film just went through the motions and didn't seem to have any heart or purpose. I think the story had potential, it just wasn't executed well. All the acting was decent to good with the exception of the lead, Benicio Del Toro, who had 0 charisma and overall gave a pretty crappy performance. CGI rivaled that of a sci-fi (Syfy) show. Make-up effects on the other hand were fantastic, as was the Wolfman design. It was scary, life-like, and paid homage to the original excellently.
