The NOE sequels are goofy, but watchable. You're taking it way too seriously

I don't know how you can come to a conclusion that NOE is worse when you've never seen them. All the PAs are dog ****.

I get that there not supposed to be serious i just hate them.

I think I can apply this to the following series:

Friday the 13th
Jaws
Halloween
Saw
Nightmare on Elm Street
Paranormal Activity
Police Academy

How many others are out there?
There are some exceptions within, but usually when you make a bunch of sequels, they get worse and worse.

At least the bad movies in the Friday the 13th and Halloween franchises are still entertaining and good to laugh at.

Lets just put them all down for individual guilty pleasure’s. With these movies I like to do a marathon (over several days or weeks). I don’t just watch Saw. I like to watch the rest as well. I think the only movie I have a hard time doing is JAWS 3.

Batman & Robin is not a good movie BUT We all enjoy in some form or the other

Never made it all the way through that one. I just can't. It's TOO awful. It's the worst thing to ever happen to Batman and almost the worst thing that ever happened to movies. I imagine it could be entertaining in that "so godawful bad, let's all laugh at it, Battlefield Earth" kinda way, but I've never been able to get into it.

Goosebumps. Jack Black not bad if dont mind Jack Black liked the twist fun movie 4 the kids give a 6.

Yeah... Batman and Robin is so terrible... It's not really funny bad either. Just a slog to sit through. And embarrassing.

It's not like I have trouble with a funny/silly Batman either. I love the 60's show and movie, but Batman and Robin were trying to do that and failed...miserably. It literally killed the franchise for years, they scrapped a planned 5th movie and just waited until the time was right to get things rolling again. I guess without it we wouldn't have gotten the Nolan Batman movies, so thanks for that anyway! :)

For me all horror movies get better with age...for some reason.

I appreciate the older ones for practical effects. I get so sick of seeing everything done with a computer. At least they're starting to get to the point where it can be hard to tell what's done with CGI, at least with smaller things. Big effect shots still look kinda sketchy at times. Imagine them doing the elevator scene in the Shining with CG blood. :gah:

No doubt. I am always aware of cgi no matter how well it's done. I'm totally against it. Practical effects are always better IMO, even when poorly done lol.
