It's completely stupid, but there are some cool bits in it.
The music and the fights were pretty great. Loved dem cyborgs.
Robin Shou and Talisa Soto were still solid and I liked Sandra Hess as Sonya much more.
Musetta Vander could be a great Sindel if the script and direction weren't so poor.
It was really cool to see Keith Cooke in a maskless speeking role.

Heck, I didn't mind Brian Thompson as Kahn. But, unfirtunately, he was playing his usual thug character.

Yeah, I'd agree with all that pretty much. :)

POINT BREAk remake and complete rip off!

So if you want to watch POINT BREAK with ALL the same scenes but WITHOUT any HEART or SOUL or POINT then watch this COMPLETE RIP OFF!:slap

I have no reason why they thought this could be any good ???:dunno Ripping off a GREAT movie and not even do any bank robbing oh wait there was one and the rest was EXTREME sports for no flipping reason thrown in. What a joke this movie is beyond just Garbage it's a complete RAPE! I feel sad i even watched it.

Wolf Children 10/10

Emotional, heartfelt, sad, funny, and sincere. This one is up there right along with the best from Studio Ghibli/Miyazaki.

True Romance -- 8.5 / 10

First watch in over 20 years, & man I forgot how intense this film is! :lol Amazing cast & performances, & a great story.

Also, Patricia Arquette in her 20s was a sight to behold.

Care to share your thoughts, I might see it Saturday.

It's a very different film to Cloverfield, much more measured. It's essentially a separate film that utilizes similar themes. It's still suspenseful though; there are a few quite intense moments. John Goodman is great. The final act is interesting, aided by a pretty well paced build-up.

But in the end, if you're seeing it just for the Cloverfield title, you might be let down. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a backlash from fans accusing it of cashing-in on an already successful title.

Would you mind telling us (in a spoiler box) if the movie actually has any monsters/aliens in it? They keep saying it has a "spiritual" connection to the first Cloverfield by I just wanted a solid "Yes or No" if it takes place in the same universe.

10 Cloverfield Lane

9/10

Highly intense claustrophobic thriller. Minor things I think should have been done differently, but near perfect movie experience. I can't wait to see it again.
