Would you mind telling us (in a spoiler box) if the movie actually has any monsters/aliens in it? They keep saying it has a "spiritual" connection to the first Cloverfield by I just wanted a solid "Yes or No" if it takes place in the same universe.

It does have aliens in it. Whether you want to connect them to the events of Cloverfield is up to you...I've read a few interviews with the director, and according to him they're not connected.

You see minor references to the company in Japan from the viral marketing and the black out at the beginning, if you listen to it.

ROOM. MOVIE Jacob TREMBLEY & BRIE Larson.

I watched this kid win best actor but had no idea who or why he won for best actor but after watching this FILM ROOM, Just OMG WOW! I thought he was a little girl until googled to find out if movie was a true story and thankfully not but unfortunate based off a even worse heartbreaking story. Then googled cast and realized hey WoW he was jack totally deserved best actor and more. I have no idea how kids can pull such amazing acting but just WoW again. A very crazy messed up story and just a very emotional crazy movie. I wont rate just say movie this its a amazing heartbreaking story and very well done. It will tug at your tears for sure.

True Romance -- 8.5 / 10

First watch in over 20 years, & man I forgot how intense this film is! :lol Amazing cast & performances, & a great story.

Also, Patricia Arquette in her 20s was a sight to behold.

LOVE TRUE ROMANCE.

All the actors are amazing Gary OLDMAN almost dont recognize as the crazy cool pimp and best crazy kill scene from Patricia Arquette and never ever gets old. A Favorite film of mine for sure.

It's a very different film to Cloverfield, much more measured. It's essentially a separate film that utilizes similar themes. It's still suspenseful though; there are a few quite intense moments. John Goodman is great. The final act is interesting, aided by a pretty well paced build-up.

But in the end, if you're seeing it just for the Cloverfield title, you might be let down. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a backlash from fans accusing it of cashing-in on an already successful title.

Thank you, sir! So far sounds like a great movie. Think I may watch it tonight.

Ummmmm... Dicaprio won for best actor.

Lots of people didn't like Spectre, but I reckon it was worth watching just to see how well a man can wear a good suit.

I liked Spectre well enough. Not the best Craig Bond film but better than Quantum of Solace. The throwbacks to the old-school films was a nice touch, but Blofield was wasted as the villain.

I enjoyed Spectre. Didn't love it. I'm in no rush to see it again. So the other DC Bond flicks were day one purchases for me. QoS included.
