Agreed. I hated the ex-wife though.
And her fiance. That was kind of dumb and silly how they tazed Scott, and left Yellow Jacket in the bug zapper...he's such a prick throughout.

Cassie is adorable though, I love how she keeps the giant ant as a dog :lol I have to say Paul Rudd really put in some work, though I still see him as Mike Crapbag from Friends.

Batman v Superman $5.60/10
I'm scoring this movie the amount of money I paid to see it. Matinees, gotta love 'em. It was worth it just to satisfy my curiosity, but not much more. I'm still going to refer to him as Batfleck because that's what he is. It's a decent performance and all, but at no time did I forget that it was Affleck, so he's not Batman to me, just Batfleck. I don't like the batsuit. I kept hoping that once I saw it on the big screen it would change my mind, but I still don't like it visually. Functionally it's ****ing awesome!

A lot has been said about the mood and tone of the film and I have to say it didn't bother me at all. Superman killing that warlord was absurd though. **** you for that one Snyder. There was only one instance of Batman killing that I had a problem with and that was only because it just felt so gratuitous. Otherwise it all felt justified to me.

There's more I'd like to say, but my brain hurts right now. Oh, yeah Schumacher is probably had a big grin on his face seeing as how Snyder took the same approach to Bruce discovering the cave that was in Batman Forever. Yes it's in The Dark Knight Returns, but in the book there is no funeral involved, only in these two movies. Suck it BF haters!

Fantastic 4: 6/10

Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I didn’t like the changes they made to the characters and the story from the original comics, but I was willing to go along with it anyway. It was ok for the most part. I think the biggest criticism has been the end after the “one year later” card, and I agree. The last 20-30 minutes seems not just tacked on, but a bit haphazard and directionless. The actors also seem uncomfortable “selling” their powers.

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

Dripping with atmosphere, dark yet meaningful, this is my favorite Batman movie ever.

5/5

Hardcore Henry 8/10
Even thought the whole gimmick is first person, I'd love to see this not in first person.

Hide and Seek (2013) 9/10
Taught thriller which is nearly perfect in most aspects

The Invitation 9/10

Hateful Eight 6/10 - it felt pretty average....don't understand how QT gets away with using the N-word so often in his films...definitely his shtick
