Really? Why?

It was a pretty darn good movie, made me almost cry like 3 times, better villain than either Zemo or Luthor

The villain was great. I bagged it because of the protagonist, I almost cried when he survived.

It's a decent film, but for me it was a case of its constituent parts being much greater than the whole. All of the characters were beautifully portrayed and rendered, but as a chase movie I found it meh.

I thought the protagonist was outstanding considering it was a child actor with nothing but green screen surrounding him.

I don't know if I'd call it a chase movie since nobody was actually chasing Mowgli

Are you making a concession for the performance, or you thought it was outstanding in its own right? Green screen or not, I just didn't like this Mowgli - in which case the premise of the movie fell flat for me.

OK, maybe not a chase movie. How about "self-discovery and evasion" movie. Either way, I thought the '67 movie was the better take on it.

I don't know if it's a concession, the vast majority of child actors do suck big time, and he not only doesn't suck, he gave a pretty good performance, not only that, with nothing but green screen... Sounds to me like the opposite of a concession

I haven't seen the 67 movie, and I haven't seen the cartoon movie in ages either, hell I haven't even read the original story (which I've been meaning to for a while), so maybe it struck me a lot fresher than it is, but in its own right I think it's a very good movie both artistically and technically.

I actually liked it when I saw it in the theater, now I know the 3D had a major influence in that. I quickly grew tired of that movie, I watched it a second time on video and wished I had never bought it.

The things the Chiropractor said gave it away. With all the flashbacks to Vietnam, I put it together when they weren't showing the conclusion of those events.
