I think you're onto something here. They should have replaced most of Batman's dialogue in TDKR with Bale's rant at the technician on Terminator Salvation.

Bane - ''You came back to die with your city...''

Batman - ''I'm gonna ****in' kick your ****in' ass!!''

Do I go in and trash your ****ing prison? Then why do you come and trash my ****ing city?!?

Yup!
It was before my time, but don't forget the Hammer Horror movies in the 60's - 70's. Watched them in the 80's when I was a young boy, but the TnA made me feel like a man! :)

Lol! I need to watch those Hammer Horrors.

As you and others have established, Alfred is full of lies.:lol

:lol

I'm just waiting for the eventual hot **** writer to come up with a story about Alfred being a mastermind that had the Waynes murdered because he knew it would create a hero ala future Waller in that JLU/bb episode. And then some other hot **** writer will take it to another level and make Alfred a pedophile.

It's weird. Bane's lines were so good and quotable, including the line that prompts arguably the most underwhelming comeback in the history of verbal sparring.

It literally might be the worst comeback in cinema history. After Bruce replied I almost expected to hear the sound of a needle scratching a record causing everyone to just stop fighting and look at each other in stunned silence. It's unbelievable that no one thought better of that line before it made the final cut. It's literally a show stopper on the level of ROTS Vader in Name Only's "NOOO."

Yep. Up there with that other gem from ROTS ''From my point of view the jedi are evil''. Or Storm's toad 'smackdown' in the first X-men film. Moments of film that make you slowly turn your head to see if the person next to you has had the same reaction of confusion. You assume these writers know what they're doing better than you, you assume you're just not getting it until you leave the cinema and everyone else goes ''yeah what the **** was that'' aswell :lol

I believe Bruce's original comeback was "I also like the fight in her but that is neither here nor there." *punch*

:lol

Joker, "Poor choice of words!"

Come on, it wasn't that bad. He redeemed himself when he beats Bane and says, "Tell me where the trigger is, then you have my permission to die!"

Bane was like, "You stole my line!!! Get your own cool lines!" :lol

What would YOU say if Bane was standing in front of you and he's like, "You came to die with your city!" What's your awesome comeback?

Yeah I'm sure the first time I saw TDKR I quickly put it out of my mind because I was so caught up in the moment but it didn't take long to go "huh?" in retrospect. :lol

That was indeed a great moment.

I don't think audiences would have rolled their eyes if Bruce said something to the effect of "This city will outlive both of us." Then you could take it as him declaring that his victory would lead to Gotham prospering long after their future deaths or as a hint that he may indeed be dying soon.

Obviously almost any comeback, including silence, would have been better than what he said in the film.

31. Rob Zombie quick horror movie if seen his movie's feels a carbon copy of same stuff. I like his style but know Rob can do much better give a 5.

The Conjuring 2 (2016) 7/10

Watched the movie alone in my basement so as to not wake the rest of the family because these movies always have loud jump scares. Probably not the best idea in the world, especially with the the house making creaking noises. As for the movie, it's well directed and the performances are solid but I think it would have been more enjoyable watching in the theater.

Batman: Under The Red Hood: 8.5/10 really great animated movie, among the best so far. I liked the voice for batman, and thought that the supernatural dude did a great job at voicing The Red Hood.

Just watched this last night in my Home Theatre in Dolby ATMOS. WOW! Creepy sounds coming from above and behind.
8/10 for me.

That's the only DC animated adaptation I ever bought because i loved it that much. Most of them are good though.
