Demolition: 6/10

Not much to say, really. If you like Gyllenhal, you'll get through it. If not... don't even bother watching. It's as by-the-numbers as it gets and it doesn't even have any entertaining characters.

The Double: 9/10

Predictable, but still very good. From the atmosphere, to the cinematography and Eisenberg's performance, it's a truly great movie. I also liked the ending, which is different from the book's, and I'm glad they went down this route. I highly recommend it.

Now You See Me 2: 7/10

It's as enjoyable as the first one. Entertaining characters, neat visual tricks and a mild but fun story. A good movie to watch at 10 PM before you go to bed.

Doctor Strange: 8.5/10

See the DS thread.

Warcraft - 6.5/10

Not bad, could have benefitted from some better actors. I never played the game, but I felt I could follow the story fine. The CGI was very impressive at times, other times it was just average.

It's no LOTR, but it's sufficiently entertaining for 2 hours.

Central Intelligence: 6.5/10

Fairly funny and entertaining. Has a very sweet side to it and a nice message about how much a small gesture of friendship can mean to someone.

I haven't seen Warcraft but had to do a double-take because for a second I read your rating as saying 9.5/10. :lol

Play the game and you might even come back to edit your score of the movie. You're about 2-3 points too high.

rushmore I heard that if you watch Catwoman then The Thin Red Line then Josh Trank's FF movie and THEN Warcraft that Warcraft becomes much more enjoyable. If you could do that and then report back as to whether it's true that'd be awesome buddy! :duff

Catwoman? I'm no masochist! Even if I did watch FF.

But I guarantee you, I will never play the game.
There's no reason to. But I strongly recommend you to read "The Last Guardian" and "Lord of the Clans". The film is a loose adaptation of elements from these books and the very first WC game.

Yep, so please read those two video game novels and then watch the movie again and let us know if it changed your score rushmore. Thanks!
