The Age of Adaline (2015) 6.5/10

Not bad. There's more that could have been done with the story that could have made this something special, but in the end it's just another chick flick.

The acting (particularly Ford and Lively) made the movie for me. Overall probably a 6.5 or 7 as you said but in the end I was glad I watched it. And the resemblance in that Ingruber kid was just uncanny.

Somebody needs to find out what Ford was doing 9 months before Ingruber was born, there may be a paternity case at stake. ;)

Do you guys know if that is his real voice or did they use Ford's voice with digital trickery?

Probably his Ford voice. He does impressions on his YouTube Channel.

He should have played Han Solo in the next film. He's super charismatic and seems like a good enough actor...at least as good as Ford was back in the 70's.

If Disney had cast Ingruber as young Han they'd have some people convinced that they pulled another RDJ and somehow miraculously de-aged Ford for the length of an entire film. Future generations might have watched all the SW films for the first time and assumed it was all the same guy.

Oh well, casting the other fellow just makes it that much easier to keep the Ford films in their own little near perfect universe.

Haha! True. That would have been good.

Far as I'm concerned it's an absolute waste that they didn't use him. Essentially a young Harrison Ford and they said no. Any excitement I had for the Han Solo movie was Lucilled right there.

Heh, I actually first read the last line as "Any excitement I had for the Han Solo movie was Lucased right there" which hilariously didn't actually change the meaning one bit. :lol

Now You See Me 2 - 4/10. One great scene, the rest is meh.

Star Trek Beyond - 6/10. Not a great movie but still enjoyable.

The car chases are excellently filmed. Performances are excellent, too - it's got a very good cast. There are a few little plot contrivances here and there and sometimes it moves so fast that I needed to infer a few major points to keep up, but it's a smart film and a good watch. And very grim in the way it treats collateral damage.

Grimsby 5/10

Eye in the Sky 7.5/10

Star Trek Beyond 6/10

The Conjuring 2 6/10

The American 6/10 despite some nice "scenes"
