Appreciate the quick review, wife said to rent it just to see what happens to him now lol.

So disappointing that first one, was expecting to be amazed.

I never bother with the second as I never finished watching the first.....

Pure action films kinda bore me....must be getting old.

The Transporter....Same film.
The Expendables....

I do want to watch the original Oldboy.....that's suppose to be memorable.

Tarzan.

IMO don't bother. 2 or 3 out of 10. Mind-bogglingly bad. Right up there w. Gods of Egypt.

I can always count on you to have the same twisted humor I have. :lol :hi5:

I've had it on the DVR for over half a year now and haven't bothered to watch more than 15 or so minutes of it. A real bore.

Teen Wolf (1985) - 4.75/10

Teen Wolf Too (1987) - 4/10

I can't believe I saw both of these movies in the theater, lol. The first one coasts pretty much entirely on nostalgia. And "Send Me an Angel" in Teen Wolf Too?? I haven't heard that song in close to 30 years. :lol I remember it was featured in the movie "Rad" as well.

Police Academy (1984) - 5.5/10

Not exactly a "good" movie but a lot of the laughs surprisingly still hold up. I was howling at the first "podium" scene, lol. NOT a PC movie towards homosexuality AT ALL though, so something to keep in mind if you think that would offend you.

Which Tarzan? The new one with Sam Jackson and Margot Robbie?

Yeah. So bad in so many ways. Was on cable so it was like I kept watching to see if it would get better. I'd say the only good thing WAS Margot Robbie who does what she can. But she can't save this sinking t**d and neither can the rubber crocodiles or SJ, even.

It's too late for those minutes of my life:(, but if you can save yourselves and skip this.

It's fun, but aside from the racial element, it's nothing I haven't seen before. I felt it was very predictable, and there were a few missed opportunities to push certain ideas further, and because of that, the film comes across as very safe, when you consider the subject matter, racial themes, and cultural focus through the story.

I liked it, so I can't blame critics for liking it, thus giving it a 99% on RT, but I can't help feeling like the critics' reaction towards the movie is similar to that of the white characters when they meet Chris in the film. :lol Maybe I'm looking into it a bit much.

There's a lot of very subtle and very interesting subtext, the director clearly has a very stylish touch, I liked that a lot about him, great skill and pleasing cinematography, not to mention, yeah it's fun.

But ultimately his whole Cultural Appropriation: the movie; "we so cool they want to be us" and other related commentary... It's eye rolling, even as witty as he executed it.

I think I was very harsh the first time I rated it, but I don't know how to feel about a very stylish 2 hour whining exercise.

Not bad for his first film.

Yup, I wouldn't be opposed to him directing Akira as the rumor says.

Yeah, he'd be fine. However, I've decided...not now, but recently, that Manga or Anime, should not be made into live action movies. The anime already did it, so there's no point in doing a live action Akira, DBZ or any Anime. I'm probably wrong, but I think it's a cultural or western obsession to make live action movies or series....not that the Japanese don't do it, but Anime in Japan is taken more seriously, and adults watch it. However, animation on this side of the world is usually seen as material for young adults or children, so no matter how good an animated film or series might be, or a comic, there seems to be this obsession to make a version with actual humans...because...cartoons are for kids. What other reason can there be when you look at the history of animation in Japan and the US? :dunno The other reason I guess might be curiosity, to see how a live action movie compares to the animation.

Get Out - 7/10 It's entertaining, but highly overrated.

I Have rated the movie with 8.5/10 I am fan of Jordan Peele, the director, probably not the best horror movie out there, but definitely one of the best movies for the year, with a great amount of dedication to details, from the deer, the score, the screenplay, overall plot and subtle messages, Peele made a great movie that you can enjoy watching over and over for many times.

Bleed for this. 8/10 incredible boxing movie, great acting and direction.
