nice job on Oldboy. I had mentioned this earlier in this thread, but it's worth mentioning again. Oldboy is part 2 of a revenge trilogy.

Part 1 - Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
Part 2 - Oldboy
Part 3 - Lady Vengeance

All 3 are fantastic, and I can't say one is far better than any other. Watch em all!

Slumdog Millionaire - 10/10

Plot - excellent
Acting - Believable

Intense, emotional, and wonderfully constructed.
Only cheesy part is during the credits, which, if you've seen bollywood films, it's the usual dance.

otherwise, the entire movie was pretty darn good.

I actually tracked down Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance to watch first . . . I really liked it a lot 8/10 . . .

But one thing that bothers me about it

the repeat of the girl threatening him used as a voice over at the end, it was so unnecessary that it kind of ruined the moment for me . .

I plan on getting Lady Vengeance now . . can't wait . . .

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans - 6.5

Was a decent flick with good fx. but the story was a typical slaves vs masters retread.

Question for those that know, are the "death dealers" vampires as well? cause they all get there ass handed to them pretty easy and seem weak.

OldBoy is amazing!!! A+++ for me. The manga is good as well. Mr. Vengence is a must see (really messed up story) and Lady Vengence is pretty good too. I really hope Hollywood leaves OldBoy alone.

As for Let the Right One In, that gets a fat A. I was lucky to see it here in the D.C. area. It only played for a week or 2 at the most. Definitely the best foreign film of the year and one of the best vampire flick of all time. The dvd doesn't hit til March. I've heard lots of good things about the book as well.

Grand Turino - B. Eastwood is great, story is good, and it goes through plenty of emotions. I didn't care for some for the supporting actors.

Underworld 3 - C-. Forgettable, not much better than a sci-fi channel flick. Bill Nighy's acting was pretty damn great though. Gore and action is pretty good.
