A+++

I'm sure it won't appeal to action junkies, but its now one of my favorites.

Afleck was great on this... very depressing guy in his role... B+ movie if we're going with the alphabet.

Now that I saw Tombstone all the way through again: B+

Probably would have a higher score if I hadn't watched an episode of Deadwood afterward. Few can compete with "Swegen."

Gotta agree with Affleck, B+ sounds good. I watched it on blu-ray, enhanced with a vivid setting to bring out those colors. The cinematography was great.

Saw 5 (unrated)

..after a looong time of waiting Saw 5 reached the german cinemas.....(but i looked it at home )

awesome movie with a lot of flashbacks, new "games" and a lot of clarification.....

The story with the 2 Cops was interesting,but imo the games absolutely sucked and the only decent performance by the victims was the bald old dude,i was so annoyed by the acting in this movie,so freaking terrible.

The "best"/hardest torture-scene is the one with the shuttling-scythe
really "sick" stuff...

The victim in that scene reminded me of Matt LeBlanc(Joey from Friends)




But i think the worst scene of them all in any of the Saw movies is this one from Saw 3 where he had to tear out the metal rings that was attached to his body :

The acting of the two cops was horrendous. WOW! I couldn't agree more. Yeah, the bald guy with the glasses was the only tolerable actor in the film outside of the original Saw guy.

It might be me not paying enough attention to the story,but what possible evidence did Strahm have on Mark Hoffman?He was just paranoid...right?

It sure does!!! I also was lucky enough to snag this one up from Walmart for $9.97 on Boxing Day (Canada) The picture quality is fantastic!

its such a shame robin williams never did alot of horror movies or thrillers since he was quite scary in this and he is really a brilliant actor.
If anyone hasn't seen this movie I reccomend it too.


A solid 8/10 for me.

8/10 It was an excellent film but some of the acting was weak. If the acting was a notch better i'd give it an 9/10. Awesome story.
