I bought Green Zone last week for $5 - haven't watched it yet, though. The action looked good. I'm hoping it isn't as political as it looked, though ... or at least that the politics aren't so obtrusive that I can't ignore them.

I actually really like it. I just think Fincher will do a much better job with the direction of it. There were a few things that just didn't work well in the production for me that I think Fincher will improve on.

Batman Returns - 4/10
Decent, but not good. Still I love it though, nostalgia's a funny thing. The style is what I really like about as well as the casting of course. The writing is really where the film fails though.

I wish they would have explained more, but overall this was a creepy flick and done really well.

The Green Zone 7.5/10 Nicely done. Meh on the political agenda. Did we? Yes. Will we ever know? No. Move on. The action was great and there was a ton of advanced military technology on display. Good film.

I watched Ip Man for the first time on Saturday. I wondered if it could live up to the hype, but damn it was cool. They didn't go over the top on the wire work, no Matrix style moves. Much more realism, a welcome change from the martial arts films of the last dozen or so years.
