I thought martyrs was worse than inside to be honest. Both disgusting.
Martyrs I only watched once. Inside I've watched several times. Those French are quite messed up when it comes to horror films. Good for them.

I can see how someone would think that. There are some things in that movie that are just too much.

As a fan of G1 I have too say poopy on TF 3 Im not putting that lightly ether... So many stupid parts boardering on retraded... Starcream getting his eye ripped out and freaking out instead of crushing those ____ers... Come on Starscream was a badass back in my day... WTF was Michael Bay thinking here??? Next up Bumblebee kills Soundwave with one hit... Now Soundwave was a major Badass back in my day too... Bumblebee would have had his ass handed to him by Soundwave... Again WTF Michael Bay??? How about Optimus being stuck by wires for about 15 mins towards the end of the movie with blades in his arms and a gun he still didnt have the smarts to cut or shoot himself down... LOL... Again WTF Michael Bay... There is so much more I could say but... WTF I just dont care anymore... I guess this one got a 6 out of 10 because it was at least better then ROFTF...

I just saw Transformers 3 in IMAX 3D. First time trying the whole 3D thing.

I thought Martyrs was over rated among the gore hounds and Inside is just a legendary film as far as awesome gore and violence. A great film, when I first seen this movie I knew it had to be added to my horror collection.

I've not yet seen Inside, but from googling a short synopsis it sounds like a more graphic version of The Strangers or Funny Games. I'll check it out, though.

It wasn't the gore in Martyrs that disturbed me, I've seen worse in other films, it was the plot and concept more than anything.

Insidious - 7/10

The first act is rather dull, but it gets weird and interesting after that. Plus, there's a corker of a jump scare in there. If you've seen it, you know which one I'm talking about. Soundtrack sounds like it was lifted right out of Evil Dead.

That was particularly idiotic... my guess is they needed an excuse to squeeze another 15 minutes out of the flick

It's kind of a poor man's Poltergeist, with some Evil Dead sort of weirdness thrown in there and just a dash of Nightmare on Elm Street. It's not as good as that decription might make it sound, but it's worth a watch for the fact that they at least tried to do something a bit offbeat and interesting.

Transformers 3 : 3D Version 6/10

Movie is not going to receive any kinds of awards anytime soon but it was basically what I expected it to be. Bunch of robots kicking the crap out of each other, while humans either get killed in the middle of battles or help out someway. I think some of the reviews on this film were a little harsh but what did you expect people?

I went to the movie to be entertained with battles and seeing ultimate destruction...that is exactly what I got so I am happy for the most part. Since I purchased a deal online for 2 movie tickets for $12, my wife and I basically got to see the 3D for that price...which would have normally cost us $24. I think the 3D would have been worth the extra cost because it was VERY well done...near on par with Avatar IMO. I am not a big fan of 3D movies but if it is well done, ill see an action movie in 3D anytime....its amazingly good eye candy.

Overall not a horrible flick but not great either by any means. I gave it a 6 because I felt the 3D alone gave it an extra point, otherwise I would have given it a 5 out of 10.
