Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

Nope. Live. AND. Die. He was living for the fight, and he died. Even the director confirmed it. And even if he did beat down the wolf, you still got the others.

Cool. Yes I did think about the others :lol

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

I JUST finished watching it and i'd also give it a 7/10. VERY overrated though. What else is new. Decent movie though.

Shoulda been called Driver imo.

Oh and the director was clearly a HUGE fan of the movie Heat.
Yeah, I think it was a bit overrated, as well (so was the music, though it had a certain vibe to it that had potential IMO), but like you are suggesting, still good. Had an interesting atmosphere and style, taking advantage of Gosling's minimalist acting approach. I really enjoyed seeing Albert Brooks as a gangster.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

It was a solid great movie. Totally worth all the praise it gets. There are too few solid movies these days. Too few.

And if it was called DRIVER, they would've had to deal with license costs, as there already exists a game called Driver, about a stuntman driver.

The novella was called Drive, since it's based off the short story.

Plus there's already a movie called The Driver by Walter Hill which is a lot like this film. Also very good, very minimalist, none of the characters have names for the most part and takes place in L.A. too.

That's not an issue. Especially since Driver the old videogame was conceptually based on the film I mentioned above called The Driver. The whole training sequence of driving inside a car park was lifted from the film as the main character, drives his potential clients all around the park, wrecking the car to prove he's the best.

It's too common of a word to trademark. Only if they actually took the same concept of the game would it be infringing on the license.

GI Joe ROC 8/10.

If you can forget it's a Joe movie and treat it as a generic action film then it's really good!
