Seriously? All the Grimm references, all the outright on the nose images of Grimm stories, and the final meeting place in Grimm park and the final showdown between the big bad wolf in the mouth of the big bad wolf . Didn't catch any of that?

Yeah really heavy handed with the fairytale metaphors. Just a few would have sufficed and made the film tighter. I personally really enjoyed it from start to finish though.

I only watch great movies most of the time

I just don't see anything in Hanna that would want to make me love it

I never watched a single advertisement, or anything for Hanna. I watched it cold. I had no idea what it was going to be, so I just let it be what it wanted to be.

That ends up being the problems with most movies to people. They want a movie to be one thing, because the studios market it to them that way, but they never let the film be what it is.

They want it to be something else.

It feels like a movie, the entire run of Spartacus Blood and Sand and Gods of the Arena so far - 9/10

Exporting Raymond 7/10. Very quirky, and very interesting if you are into the differences between cultures like the US and Russia. I was never a huge Raymond fan, but I can see the generally universal appeal. Watching Rosenthal try to work with the Russians was definitely entertaining, at least to me.
