Dead Rising 2 on the PS3. 8.5 out of 10. Have not played the multi player or the co-op yet. Too busy trying to upgrade and get all the endings. So far got A, C, D, and S.

Metroid Other M on Wii. 7.5 out of 10.

+ like the return to (semi) 2D and quicker (than Metroid Prime) paced gameplay

- some parts of the game were a little confusing/poorly executed though
- didn't like the controls, but got over them
- didn't like the dodging system (you can spam it)

Would you recommend paying full price for this?? My awesome neighbors said I can borrow their Wii if I want, and this is the only game I want to play right now.

Nah, I wouldn't pay full price.

Of the Metroid games I played, I think it is one of the least polished of the series. Certain things sounded good on paper, but just wasn't executed very well in the game (e.g. controls, certain parts in the game, certain combat mechanics). Also, there isn't a lot of cool music in the game either.

Despite the negative, if you are a big Metroid fan, you will probably play Other M at least to see what happens between Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion. Like the reviews out for the game, it's a hit or miss kind of deal. I'm not sure if you'll like it. As a fan of 2D style games, I really wanted to like this more than I did, but for what's in the game, overall it's not too bad.

It took me about the same. Mainly it was when he'd get right in your face and you have to insatntly press either X or SQUARE (or was it CIRCLE?) that I would allways get killed (plus I also for got to pick up the handgun right before the fight and that didn't help). I finally discovered if you press X and SQUARE at the same time during the timed attacks, you can dodge them.

I found it to be quite underrated. I bought it for $10 and loved every minute of it.

Medal of Honor....6.5/10 for the single player. It was fun, but more of the same old stuff that Modern Warfare 2 gave us last year. There's a patch out now that fixed the glitches (I didn't experience any of the disappearing buildings and stuff).

The last game I finished was Medal of Honor modern. It was a decent game, glad I rented it but parts of it were cool. You could tell they had played alot of COD Modern Warfare during the development, too bad they couldnt master it like Infinite Ward did. Multiplayer was ok I guess. Whenever Black Ops comes out this game will be on the bargain bin soon after. I would definitely give it a rent though.

Vanquish 9.5 / 10


Pure intense kickass action from start to finish. Even the credits were interesting. Story is throw-away, but acts as a vehicle for the action.

Can't wait for a sequel. I hope they make one.

I have completed a few games this year , and done a few twice
Here are a few i think are worth mentioning for there good and bad points.
all xbox 360 games

The only game i have ever played on modern consoles which deserves a 10/10 is metal gear solid 4 sons of the patriots , really is stunning , ok the videos are long but everything else is amazing
And Oblivion as i spent 160 hours without stepping foot into shivering isles.


1.Kane and lynch 2 dog days 5/10 (completed it in 3 hours on normal)
2.Vanquish 9/10 amazing game
3.Halo reach 8/10 , just another halo i suppose not much difference
4.red dead redemption 9/10
5.splinter cell conviction 9/10 amazing game (some bad frame rate though)
5. medal of honour 6/10 , very similar parts to MW2 , not amazing and poor online gaming way too overhyped
6.crackdown 2 3/10 the worst story of any game
7.Sniper Ghost warrior 5/10 (5 hours on hard) crap story , i like sniping though.
8.Lord of the rings conquest 2/10 terrible game
9.DR2:Case zero 4/10 good making weapons , but the most repetative game i have played.
10.Battlefield bad company 2 9/10 great single player and great online

Yeah i know im a game hound i play and collect retro and modern video games and consoles.

Im currently on the DLC for Borderlands

Alan Wake: The Signal
Alan Wake: The Writer

I would give both of them an 8/10....love the game, but thought the 2 DLCs would complete the story, not just set up a sequel

It took me forever to complete the story due to doing so much side stuff as well as going through a move.
